No, not that kind, ya pervert! They're obnoxious, stupid, and bitchy. They don't seem to "hear" anything I say. It's like the mic isn't even there. How do you get them to listen? Pick 'em up, zoom in on 'em, tap on the glass? THEY DON"T LISTEN. They also whine uncontrollably. Another thing, I'm out of food. While in a sick twisted way, it is kinda funny to watch the little bastards starve, how do I get more food?! I'm probably gonna have to start over considering I haven't checked on them today and they're probably floating on the surface...

sounds fun, adding it to the list of "raise stupid little pets" games I have to get.
Dreamcast is on that list too.

Man, I haven't messed with seaman in a while. You gotta go to the other tank and breed moths to feed your seaman. You gotta keep the moisture just right for the moths to hatch, procreate, blah, blah, blah. And don't keep dropping the larva in as food, since this makes it so you have no larvae and then the regular moths die, no more larvae and then you're screwed.

In the beginning, the little fuckers won't listen to you directly. Especially if they are starving. Just keep talking to them and eventually they will start to learn the language. And one wil ask for a name.

My seaman grew legs and went away a LONG time ago. I haven't picked up up since, 'cause I got tired of caring for the damn thing.

How do I go to the other tank?

Here's what ya do:

Visit the suckers at least two times a day. (I did three)

Every day you only need to drop ONE food pellet in the tank.

Talk to them, tickle them, make them dizzy. A happy Seaman will grow and evolve.

Always check on the tanks oxygen level and water temperature.

Don't leave the game for three or more days or they will die. Play EVERY DAY if you can.

Follow these steps and they will evolve and more things will open up for you.

To get to the other tank I think you hit R or L? can't remember which exactly...

I just broke out the manual, and after reading it, I remmeber now that when they start off you can't feed 'em moths. That doesn't happen until later when the seaman talks to you about it.

It sounds like you may have overfed your seaman (if you're out of pellets). If that is the case and he hasn't talked to you about moths or an alternate food source, then you may want to think about restarting. You're only supposed to feed them when they tell you they are hungry. If you keep talking to them you may be able to advance the stage they are in and they'll tell you about the moths.

Have you given on eof them a name yet? If not, try giving one a name, and maybe that'll trigger the moth thing.

Other than that, I'm not sure how else to help with this problem, but if you have any more questions, post 'em and I'll see what I can remember.

You do know that you have to hold A before talking into the mic, dont you? Also I think it takes one or two days after becoming Gillmen bfore they can start talking. One more thing, one way of playing with them is to repetedly press the X button over them to tickle them.

Ok, my Seaman died so I had to start over. Well, the nautilis (or however you spell that) ate nearly all of the things so now I have like 7 Seamen. Oh, and no I didn't know you had to hold A before talking to them. Now they're actually responding.

Whoa, you have to press A? Does it say that in the manual? I didn't see it in there. No wonder mine never responded!!! <img src="graemlins/loco.gif" border="0" alt="[Loco]" />

I got mine from EB two weeks ago. Been raising them for two weeks now. We'll see how it goes. Last week I was visiting them twice a day. This week once a day. I have four of them and they don't really talk yet. I guess I should talk to them more.
