This may sound silly, but I wish, especially with today's technology, that some bold game company decided to make a game about...
A taoist priest hunting down hopping vampires.
For those of you who are unfamiliar with the premise, in Asia the favorite monster in their horror movies are not killers behind a mask (i.e. Jason, Michael Myers) but rather hopping vampires.
The thought of a hopping vampire might sound funny to some folks, but if you ever seen some of the nastier looking ones, they can be quite intimidating.
A great film about hopping vampires is "Mr. Vampire", which is a huge cult hit and a film sought after by many collectors. I remember a few people on this board being a fan of the film.
I would recommend the film to any horror fan, especially with the sub-titles. Great flick.

I would love to see someone make a game with that premise in mind. Either as a 3D horror or adventure game. I know the cultural gap is there, but I think it could be a hit.
Or am I wrong?
Or have we seen and played one too many Resident Evil-type games?
