Would you? What would you do? I'd spend a lot of time at the WTC site, knowing what we all know. I'd definitely listen to top 40 NON-STOP and play in the red-hot arcade scene. The 80s was the best decade EVER, and if I went through a time warp now, I'd never look back. I'm even dressed for it if it should ever happen. :cool:

I would play a lot more of the laser disc games that are so rare these days.
Even if they did blow , they were cool as hell then.
Probably take a different carrer route from day one also, not that I dont like my current one.

I would choose something that pays better than law enforcement. Maybe become a .com gazillionare ? talk more to the relatives that have since died , you know those cool ones that you never really got to know.

I would totally rock the F$*K out!! The decade of my youth would be great all over again! I'd pick up a shit load of Transformers, rock out to Billy Idol and play P.O.W., Bad Dudes, Aliens, Double Dragon, Altered Beast, Ninja Warriors and Robocop until the Decade was done! Depends...

If I could go back and be six years old, I wouldn't know a thing and just keep living life the way I used to... which would suit me fine. A best friend around the corner, a great young and energized uncle, etc. Great times.

If I could go back and be the current age I am right now, I would buy lots of toys, watch the great Saturday morning cartoons, go to the 80's dance clubs and go see some 80's movies and listen to 80's music and just go around town in evening time waving hi to everyone.

Yeah... that's what I would do.

There was a video game store that had domestic and import games. My brother sold our NES and used the money to buy a new genesis, altered beast and last battle. In the glass display case I saw the jpn DD2. I would have asked my mom for DD2 and a famicom system b/c my brother sold what was supposed to be a system we shared. Out of sheer curiosity if anyone has a famicom w/ any of the Double Dragons please pm me or e-mail me.

I would go to New York and live the oldskool hip hop life of a breakdancer and a DJ and an MC and a graff writer when before all that gangster rap crap came about, back in the day when it was about fun times, before a Parental advisory sticker was even on a rap album. Truthfully I loved the 80's and delight in watching movies from the 80's especially old horror movies, comedies and breakdancing movies. I love the 80's. Oh and I'd buy a gazillion nintendo games.

The 80s were the best. We had the good Rocky films, Terminator, Predator, Running Man, etc just for kickass movies. Then you had the Nintendo, Master System, etc.. Shit, for music you have Metallica (when they were actually good), Slayer, Solitude Aeturnus, Iron Maiden, Megadeth, Ozzy, etc. Shit, I don't know what I'd do if I were thrust back in that decade. If I had it my way, I'd go to a decade where I've never lived in, such as the 60s or something.

Well I don't know if I'd want to relive the whole decade of the 1980's, but I still feel that 1988 was the best year ever! Rambo III was in theatres, Ninja Gaiden came out for the Famicom and changed the way gamers saw gaming forever with it's animated cinema cut-scenes... the arcade had Super Contra, Devastators, P.O.W. Guevara... and I was in my prime as a skater on the real skateboards (Convave man! not these skinny boards) tearin' up the Rivercity on my Vision Mark Gonzales with Powell & Peralta stickers wearing AirWalks and just being a meance to the streets! JEAH MAN 1988 FOREVER!

i'd hang out with frank zappa and defend dee snider in court. from tipper gore and the pmrc. then the music thompson twins, SRV, all of the hair metal, men without hats, grandmaster flash, public enemy, run dmc, atari, and the NES. i bet the old arcade that used to be down the street from my house would be there again. with the ninja turtles. and dick tracy the movie, michael keaton as batman and the wonder years, the cosby show, and dallas, oh and knight rider.

I've always wanted to see a topic about the 80's! If I had the chance to go back to the 80's for real at this very moment, I honestly would. The world today just seems so out of control and hectic. While the 80's were almost always about the fun, there was also a level of respect that kids had for their parents and human beings had for other human beings. Not to mention the awesome music. 1983 is still considered to be the best year in music history and that will probably never change. Honestly, didn't the 80's just feel more wholesome in every respect? I mean, nowadays, everything is about F this and F that with an oral sex scene thrown in just about every movie. It's ridicules! I can't explain what I would give to go back to the 80's and live there forever. The decade means that much to me and it always will.
