Some idiot ebay seller I did a deal with decided to write "FRAGILE" on a box..As we all know writing fragile on a box is simply an ivitation for the PO to mutilate it...

ALso never write DO NOT BEND unless you make it impossible to bend the package. I won a comic book off ebay and the one guy just put it in a priority envelope with two thin ass pieces of cardboard on either side. I found it rolled up in my mailbox.

It would have been worse had this been a very rare book and not just a semi-common one I got to replace a water damaged issue.

and if you sell a cd, please use a proper cd case. I found a cd crushed to dust inside a package that the post man crammed into my mail slot.

One of these days I'm going to package up a paint bomb (like the police use) inside a UPS package and write "fragile" all over it.

Then I'll wait and see if I get a phone call... buttrock

I had to cut open a box that had a MVS Cart in it just so I could collapse the box and get it out of the small apartment mailbox. That sucked. You would think a rational human being would realize that the opening for the mailbox was to small to get that box through. Oh wait were talking about the US postal service here must leave rational thought out of the disscussion. lol

This reminds me of when I ordered my DC arcade stick from the UK. It took 1 1/2 months to arrive, and when it did, the box was all crushed and smelled kinda like salt and fish. The stick was fine, though.

It's amazing that I could buy 70% of my games online and not have a single horror story. I almost have trouble believing these stories sometimes.

It never fails to amaze me what people write on their packages. Do these fucking morons think that because they write "fragile" on a box that the box goes to the special trailer where everything is carefully handled? Fuck no! That box gets treated just the same as every other box in the trailer. People think that they are will get some kind of special fucking treatment because they busted out a sharpie marker and wrote some little bullshit message on their package.

If anything, seeing those messages just makes me even more pissed. I hate the fact that someone thinks that I will work harder just because they wrote "breakable" on their box. These fucking people are trying to get something for nothing. They are attempting the achieve the hookup through magic marker.

If your package truly is of great importance, send it through a specialized carrier that will take good care of your box. It will cost more, but your package will get the special treatment it needs. Don't be a fucking cheapass and send it through USPS, UPS, or even FedEx. And remember, you are not special!

Sure, but it's still no excuse for a package arriving in considerably worse condition than it was sent.
