Artfire MIB, Nice score. One of the hardest TFs to get, especially MIB! Add MIB Jetfire to that and you have an Ebay score that would make any Transfans day. Congrats!

I love transformers like the next guy, but those are beyond crack prices. I don't care how mint and rare they are, $2,000 for a F**king toy? Shesh, talk about nuts.

Do you think he'll get that?

Satoshi Hasimoto was the voice actor for Terry Bogard, Kim Kaphwan, and Fire Convoy on the Transformers.

What series was Artfire in......Headmasters i presume??

I cant believe i missed the Armada episode "Chase" with Unicron in it.......my TF misery continues.

I also lost a mint Scorponok in spain in about 1990.....agh!!

Artfire is from the Headmasters/Targetmasters series in Japan. He was a Japan exclusive. They also did a Jazz/Meister repaint for the Targetmasters run but I can't remember what they called him.

Man... that Unicron figure...

Waited all this time for something like that. And because of his robot mode, one thing is certain: my current garbage disposal is now obsolete.

Truely amazing...

That transformer is probably a remake. I know in Japan they released the remakes before they did here.

Personally I'd rather have that Unicron... Thats fucking sweet.
Oh and why would anyone keep a toy in a safe for 10 yrs that makes no sense at all.

1) The Unicron IS REAL. Its being released this summer. It stands 18 inches tall and will cost about $49.99 retail.

2) Why would someone keep a toy in a safe for ten years? So they could sell it later for $1,000 (Jetfire originally cost $50 when released, you see what original MISB ones go for now). Would have sold for even more if it was one of the first runs with the Macross marks still on the wings.

3)Why would someone keep a videogame in a plastic bag in a glass case?? loco

The Beastwars Neo Movie isn't all that good. A bit too much slapstick.
The Armada episode featuring Unicron has already aired. From what I've heard the final Armada story arch is going to be called The Unicron Wars. All the Armada toys released from here on out will have modified packaging featuring the Unicron Wars logo.

Well, I just caught a download of it and wouldn't want to spoil it for those that haven't seen it, but I'm walking away a bit underwhelmed.

Now, is it just me, or does any one else that thinks Armada just ain't up to par? I mean, it definatey has a better look than the RID imports, but as I stated before those kids are nothing short of a nuisance.

Well it's always gonna be questionable.

The problem is there are always gonna be detractors saying that Transformers isnt what it used to be.

I for one dont enjoy it as much, the violence has been too watered down, and yes the kids are anoying, but remember people who saw original Transformers were kids and wont enjoy it as much, if i was still that young and saw armada, i would probably love it....as for RID, ive only seen the first episode, so cant comment.
I hate the way they keep re-hashjing the same character names in new senarioes in different timelines, so there is no continuity(as if there ever was), but to me Armada is ok, could be better.

As for kids, blam,e trhe japanese, since Masterforce there has been more than one kid in the story, but those series were very good.

No, Armada is not going into a second season. The Unicron Wars is the last part of the Armada run, and yes, Armada is craptastic.

Depends on what you consider a season...the show will run 52 eps total, we have just hit the halfway point, and will be through episode 31 by the end of March

All the Armada episodes were done in one run, unlike the G1 episodes that were done in clusters. So, Armada is "technically" one season.
The Unicron Wars is just a story arch in that season.
