Double overtime 155-145. That's a damn high scoring game especially these days when NBA scoring is rather low. Kevin Garnett was the MVP 37 points--Yeah!!!! Minnesota in the house!!! buttrock What a shot by Michael Jordan at the end of the first overtime--fade away over Sean Marrion. The East would have won if it weren't for Jermaine O'Neal fouling Kobe Bryant behind the 3 piont line. It was all West though in the second overtime. What did you think of the game?

Number one. It's Shawn Marion, not Sean Marrion. wink

Number two. Jermaine O'Neal fucked up big time on that last play at the end of OT 1. He ruined Jordan's potential Game Winning Shot. Damn. That sucked.
After that, the game was all down-hill.

The game to me went from decent to great to classic to tainted yawnfest.

Shame. The game should have ended with Jordan hitting that crazy fadeaway shot that hit nothing but net. It was beautiful.

I liked the Dunk Contest and the Rookie Challenge game better. Jason Richardson baby! YEAH. Gilbert Arenas -- the backcourt duo of Golden State is going to be very very good one day not too distant in the future trust me!

Did you see that last JRich dunk? GOSH!!

Yeah!! I saw the last dunk by Jason Richardson. What was funny was that when he tried it on his first attempt to bounce the ball and didn't get the proper bounce, Kenny Smith said that everyone was going to get tired of seeing him do a dunk via bouncing the ball and that he wasn't going to win. Then he bounced it grabbed it and made it go between his legs then dunked it. Kenny Smith looked like a fool. make_fac

Great game, but there was no foul on that play at the end of the first OT. Kobe's own momentum was taking him outta bounds, I don't think o'neal even touched him. If he did, it was very minor contact, that shouldn't warrant a foul, especially at the end of the game like that.

Good game, nonetheless.

That dunk contest was damn sweet, the final round had some amazing dunks, especially the last one. buttrock

That was the best NBA All-Star game ever. They just fought each other left and right and Jordan even broke the record for most points in carrer all-star games.

Shaq has been in every all-star game since his rookie season. Is Yao Ming about to do the same.

If I were a betting man I'd put down my farm.

Why?

Well... you got 2 billion people in China voting every year...

Shaq will never be voted in as the fans' choice of Starting Center in the Western Conference as long as both Shaq and Yao remain in the West in the NBA, period. Have a nice day, Shaq. :)

Hmmm....I was just thinking about this. So let's say Yao doesn't have a good season and averages like 4 points a game for the sake of argument, he'll still be voted as a starter in the All Star game much less be voted in as an all star because of all the people voting in China. That sucks. Something needs to be done about the fan voting system and checks need to be put in place.
