Anyone here getting the Xbox live version of Capcom vs SNK 2 on release or later?

Hi, true fans, I was just wondering if anyone here was getting CvsS2 for XBox? I'm wondering because I finally will be able to try my skills out on other people from around the world. Of course I'm dedicated to the Neo Geo, and man would it have been sweet to have that baby online.

Anyway, my Xbox live gamertag is Falcon 12 if anybody is interested in playing me if you have Live.

CvsS2 isn't released until Wednesday of next week, so I'll be practicing on my PS2 until then.

I'll leave with one more question who would actually love to see SNK games online, with BroadBand sweetness?

That was one of the reasons I was thinkng about getting an X-Box. That and DOA 3, Panzer Dragoon, and Ninja Gaiden . Is the online support supossed to be pretty good? It would be interesting because I know X-Box has the best online gaming abilities of all the systems.

I have it prepaid, and I know a few other people around here do as well. We need to start an official thread with Gamertags and times.

I pre-orderd mine w/overnight shipping from ebgames.com awhile back. So, I'll be waiting like a rabid dog for the Fed-Ex guy on Weds. loco !!

Only problem is I won't be able to REALLY play until a sweet joystick comes out. Or if I can find that damn MagicBox adapter for my DC Agetec stick . I guess I'll spend some time on my custom colors & shit......

I ordered mine from FYE, music because I work there and get a discount. So, I can't wait for Wednesday!

Xbox Live is by far the best console with online capabilities, so much so that I sold my PS2 network adapter because I play Live more and to put the money toward a Neo Geo system.

I agree tha we should start an official thread for gamertags though.

Although the controller is going to suck, I will be getting this one as well. I'm very good at 2D fighters, so I'm pretty excited to see how I'll do. I hope to GOD the lag isn't as bad as some games get on live, tho. Usually Live is nice and lag free, but there are times... ugh.

We will see just how much lag was being hidden in the sports games. I'm only worried since games like this you can't afford to have ANY lag, or it just won't work. We'll see. smirk
