Samurai Shodown2, Gen-an Chant: Babbling or hidden message?

Greetings,
Today I was playing Samurai Shodown2, and once again that damn chanting in the background of Gen-an's stage struck interest. It sounds like a recording played in reverse, so I took the liberty of recording it, and reversing it myself. The only problem is that the original chant is played at a slightly fast speed, and I was wondering if any of you could could slow it down a bit with some audio editing software and figure it out?

You can slow it down in windows soundrecorder...

make a wav first :)

I tried that already. Sadly, you only have the option of speeding up or slowing down in 100% increments.

The voice sounds like an Innuit throat singer or a buddhist chant. Don't think that there's something hidden in it, guess it's just a sample loop taken from an outdoor recording of a religious ceremony that fits to the atmosphere of Genan's level.
