I got this movie from a friend ...its a HK import of a movie called Killing Me Softly starring Heather Grahm , curious to see what the movie was about I decided to look at the back of the dvd case and read the description ..

I had to share it with you guys .

NOTE : there are no elephants in the movie whatsoever .

Hmm, that's very disappointing. I was gonna check it out but if there are no elephants than fuck it.

Question: Do Japanese people actually read the Engrish and understand it? Are there message boards out there full of Japanese people talking Engrish to one another and actually carrying on conversations? If so I would love a link (please no GAMEFAQS).

It's by Chen Kaige. Wow, since Farewell my Concubine he's gone totally downhill. It did get a US DVD release, but here's the IMDB entry:

How did the word 'Elephant' make its way into the synopsis? Did the elephant demand to be credited?
