WWE World Heavyweight Championship
-Triple H (c) vs. Booker T [/qb
Someone needs to take that damn belt away from HHH, if they don't make that man Booker then as much as i Love Trish and the Hurrican I see no need for me to watch Raw.

Earthquake
[QB]WWE Championship
-Kurt Angle (c) vs. Brock Lesnar
I like Kurt more then Brock so what else can i say besides go Kurt

Earthquake:
-Hulk Hogan vs. Vince McMahon
Thes could either be pretty interesting or pretty boring

Earthquake:
-Steve Austin vs. The Rock
This ought to be fun to watch, go Stone Cold

Earthquake:
-Shawn Michaels vs. Chris Jericho
Bathroom break

Earthquake:
WWE Tag Team Championship
-Team Angle (c) vs. Los Guerreros vs. Rhyno and Chris Benoit
Hard to decide if i want to cheer for Team Angle or Los Guerreros. Chris needs to be back in the heavyweight title hunt and not stuck with a replacement for Edge even though Ryno is good

Earthquake:
WWE Cruiserweight Championship
-Matt Hardy (c) vs. Rey Mysterio
This should be good with the match going either way, me thinks there will be some typical Shannon's helpful attempts going wrong

Earthquake:
Triple Threat WWE Women's Championship
-Victoria (c) vs. Trish vs. Jazz
"HEY!! Time to Rock N' Roll!! I got the keys to the city cause that's how I get down"

Earthquake:
-Undertaker and Nathan Jones vs. A-Train and Big Show
Bathroom break #2

Earthquake:
Heat:
WWE World Tag Team Championship
-Chief Morley and Lance Storm (c) vs. Kane and RVD
I only watch Heat for Lita

This is gonna be one lame WM. Where the FUCK is RVD?
He was on Heat with Kane attempting to get the Raw tag titles from Storm and Morley. They actually violated the "Austin-Regal Law of Substitute Tag Partners"* and had Storm/Morley retain.

*Basically, no defending team with a substitute partner will retain the title. Named after "Stunning" Steve Austin and Lord Steven Regal (substituting for Brian Pillman), who lost the WCW tag titles to Arn Anderson and Paul Roma.

Well after watching it, I think Austin vs Rocky was the best match....I was about to mark out when Brock went for the Shooting Star he perfected in OVW..and missed. OH well.

Dude, why did the HHH vs Booker T match suck so much? The only thing worse than that was that lame ass catfight.

Or maybe it was Limp Bizkit... oh_no

I thought it was better than last years, though this would have been alot better with Jeff Hardy. Well looks like Golberg will be at Backlash after seeing the comercial. The coolest thing was when Roddy Piper came out wearing his hot rod t-shirt and quilt during the Hogan vs McMahon match, and Rey Mysterio's Dare Devil looking outfit. I wish Y2J won his match.

Results are brelow (spoiler)

- * = who got the pin, and # = who was pinned
Sunday Night Heat
-*Chief Morley & Lance Storm def. #RVD and Kane with help from the Dudleys

Wrestlemania XIX
-*Matt Hardy def. #Rey Mysterio via a Twist of Fate (Shannon Moore did interfere a little bit)
-*Undertaker def. #A-train and Big Show via Tombstone pildriver (This match was changed to a handicap match after Nathan Jones was beat up back stage, but he came out later and knocked out the big show with a cresent kick)
-*Trish Stratus def. Jazz and #Victoria via a hard kick to the stomach to win the Women's Championship
-Shelton Benjamin and Charlie Hass def. #Los Guerreros and Rhyno & Chris Benoit
-Shawn Michaels def. Chris Jericho via clutching roll up pin (very good match. Though Y2J lost, this match had some awesome moves)
-Triple H def. Booker T via Pedigree (he sucks up to his boss too much to stay on top of the WWE)
-Hulk Hogan def. Mr. McMahon via 3 leg drops in a row (thi was a street fight so it was no DQ, and this match was better than some hardcore matches especially for dudes in their 50's. Vice made this Jack Nicoleson from the shinning type face durring that match as he lifted himself from the apron, and Roddy Piper interfiered. Vice did a leg drop off a ladder onto Hogan and Hogan on a table and it smashed.)
-The Rock def. Stone Cold via Rock bottom (Stone cold kicked out of 1 stunner the rock did, 1 people's elbow and 2 rock bottoms. Rock got the the pin on the 3rd rock bottom)
-Brock Lesnar def. Kurt Angle via F-5 (Angle kicked out of a pin after the F-5, and Brock kicked out of a pin after a Angle slam plus he survived 2 or 3 ankle lock)

The best matches in my opinion were
Kurt Angle vs Brock (lots of freestyle wrestling)
Y2J vs HBK (very technical match)
Hogan vs Vince (hardcore type of stuff, and Roddy Piper made the match very good)

I haven't marked out watching pro wrestling in YEARS...Till tonite! Seeing Roddy Piper beat down on Hogan??? SWEEEEEEEET!!! I allmost had a heart-attack! Friggen-A...McMahon bladed himself a bit too much, tho..All that blood??? Ew.

Actually, this WM was really good. I -was- very dissappointed in the Shawn Michaels/Chris Jericho match..Those guys could have done a HELL of alot better. Jericho carried the whole match, and there was a time Shawn would have given 110%, and it would have been a match to remember. SO Sad.

Interesting to see Goldberg's on his way back. I read he's been in Japan the past 2 years.I wonder if this means he can actually WRESTLE, now??? *lol* :p

I think he might have landed on his head, too. I hope that he's not too hurt--I think that's how Hayabusa's career ended (neck injury off a botched SSP)

Hayabusa wasn't going for a Shooting Star Press when he got injured. He was going for a moonsault.

Wrestlingdotcom has <a href="http://www.wrestlingdotcom.com/news/51101961.php" target="_blank">confirmed</a> that Goldberg will be at RAW tonight to start a feud with The Rock which will end in a match at Backlash. Hopefully, Goldberg learned how to 'wrestle' while in Japan. wink

Anyway, I thought WM was well above average in terms of actual in-ring wrestling (for the WWE anyway). The Booker T and HHH match was easily the most disappointing match of the night in my view. HHH just doesn't seem entertaining anymore. Booker should have walked away with the title with no questions asked.

I guess Rowdy Roddy Piper was right, pro wrestling is 90% politics. And with HHH engaged to Stephanie, his backstage power will only increase. very_ang

I give this year's WM an 8 1/2 out of 10.

Sorry; my mistake. For some reason, I remembered an SSP. Maybe because of the Lesnar botch; upon seeing it, I thought, "Isn't that how Hayabusa hurt his neck?"

Incidentally, that and many other things (Kodo Fuyuki's booking) put FMW down the toilet. After hearing of the "Anal Explosion Match" I take back everything I've ever said about Vince Russo. help

All I ave to say is...

Y2J vs HBK... my two all-time favorites in the ring together, lived up to my expectations, but at the same time left me wanting more. My god, and to believe Yung Burnout said he'd take a bathroom break during this one? Please.

Match of the year.

Yah. That jericho/HBK match was definately my fav of the night. But really, nothing sticks out in my mind as actually being bad last night. Even the hogan/vince match which I thought would be horrible was pretty entertaining. Only thing I didn't like was limp bizkit and that lame ass cat fight. This was definately a good mania.

In regard to Lesnar's botched SSP, did he really think he would make it from that side of the ring? I mean, Angle was a hell of a lot closer to the opposite turnbuckle. I guess Lesnar wanted to prove something since it was WM. You could clearly see he was pissed and embarrassed after the match. I don't even think RVD could have hit a 5 star from that far away.

In Lesnar's defense though, that was the best SSP I have ever seen a US wrestler perform. How he made it as far as he did is beyond me. Not to mention he didn't do the flip until he was midair and half way across the ring. Seeing as how most wrestlers who perform the SSP do the flip as soon as they leave the turnbuckle, it was absolutely astonishing! Take a look at Kidman's SSP (considered the worst version of the move by many fans) and compare it to Lesnar's. There's no comparison what so ever.

I didn't have to it almost put me to sleep, yeah the match had it's moments and it was better then the Booker vs. HHH match, match of the year candidate yes, does it deserve to win that one, no.

After seeing that match I wish I had gone to the bathroom

I think what happened was that Brock got up there not really realizing the complexities of the situation, and once he was on top you could see his facial expression -- maybe he panicked and said in a desperate plea, "Too late to turn back now... who knows I just may be able to pull this off..."

Remember, like the commercial says itself, this is the showcase of the immortals. I guess it got to Brock's head a lot.

Kurt should have rolled in proper position.

Speaking of beautiful SSP's, ever seen Papi Chulo's? His is awesome because it's very graceful, and has a high peak. He wrestled in WWF as Aguila (Wrestlemania 14) then he changed gimmicks to Papi Chulo before becoming Essa Rios (Lita was his manager, he had a CW Title run) and then I guess he got cut. Sad... his workrate needed work (he was mainly a spot machine) and he couldn't speak english fluently, even after repeated suggestions to get a speaking coach. He just never stepped up to the plate.

It's sad that at least 3 names from when I watched wrestling in 1985 are still wrestling.

Did anyone else find it odd that the final three matches were won by three consecutive finishers? Hogan with three leg drops on McMahon, The Rock with three rock bottoms on Austin, and Lesnar with three F-5's on Angle.

Although Lesnar was supposed to finish Angle off with the SSP before he botched it, the third F-5 kind of fell right in place. I don't think this has ever happened before.
