Dont want this to turn into a rant, but aside from our beloved SNK, how many of you feel the PC is a kick-ass 2D platform? The past 4 or 5 years have seen some incredible 2D art on the PC, though the gameplay of genres such as RTS are probably a problem for many. But not me.

I mean think about it, the art in games such as Age of Empires 2, Starcraft, Diablo 2, and Rollercoaster Tycoon is 2D bliss in my eyes. Sure the gameplay is left of center, but I actually love much of it and find it extremely challenging.

Who here agrees? Disagrees?

I agree. I have been hooked on Ultima Online for the past three years. I am waiting for a chance to play Lineage now.

I'm not much of a PC/mac gamer other than the Sims when it first came out. Haven't touched the game in months!

Well also though on the pc you don't have to be tied hardware wise to one company. And you can upgrade and do other things also. <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">
