I'm curious as to how you guys feel about this game. I picked it up today with exitement and anticipation, but I have to say I wasn't overly impressed. I mean it's the sequel for Rival Schools and all, but I wasn't totally taken by it. Come to think of it, I guess I felt the same way with the original too But they're great to have in the collection and it offers something different to the world of fighting. The rivalry between high schools is a very interesting and unique approach. Well you could say that KoF had a little bit of that with Kyo et al, but to a much lesser extent. The artwork is very cool and each H.S. has a story, but I feel that they could have been more extensive - much longer than the KoF and SF endings though. The graphics are leaps and bounds above the original. And for $20 it's a great deal.

Ack! I wanted to talk about the game... but I stll didn't get it .... Yeah, I know, I should have got it in the day of the release date, but I had exams at that time. But, I'll get it as soon as possible, and give my opinion on it

Well, it's too early for me to decide overall, since I just got it and have played it twice.

I noticed the visuals are amazing (I play on a VGA monitor), the teams are cool, the stages are well-done and there seem to be a lot of options.

I'll have to agree with other's assessments that it's a lot of game for $20. Thanks Capcom!!

I preordered the Game from capcom and then received a letter telling me it is backordered. Backordered.....what the hell is that. The company that puts out the game is backordered on a preorder...I could have bought it faster from Electronic Bontique. Geez, I preordered Heavy Metal from them to. Guess that well be backordered also ;(

the graphics are good, especially that stage where it is raining and there is this yellow train that passes by.the clouds movement along with the lightning looks great.i must say that this game puts ps2's SFEX3 to shame in the gameplay and maybe the graphics area.

SFEX3 was very lame, moreso when put next to Project Justice.

I really liked this game, its great to actually have a story in it, and its fun to play. $20? Even better. It could have been better though if it was longer and had more things to do/discover. Werent some features cut out of this game that were in the import version?

Big Bruno - same thing happened to me with Sega- when I pre-ordered Shenmue Limited Ed and they sent me the regular version cause the other was 'out of stock'....

Just got mine yesterday, along with my Onimusha wall scroll and Biohazard: Code Veronica Complete !

Project Justice is a very fun game, IMO. I only flirted with Rival Schools, so it's all basically new to me again and is going to take some getting used to before I can offer a more technical opinion than that. But for 20 bucks, it's WELL worth it.

Batsu, I'm proud of you. You're the biggest fan of Rival Schools I've ever seen anywhere, and you held off from purchasing it because of your studies. Now THAT'S fortitude!

Well... I do have to get good marks so that my parents won't get pissed ... Anyway, sorry for asking, Taiso, what does 'fortitude' mean?

Don't know why but I rarely play the first Rival School. It's fun but I don't really like it as much as Street Fighter II.

I try to get this game but nowhere to be found.
Maybe online store is my only hope

This game kicks so much ass and it isn't funny. The many team Supers you can do on your opponent is amazing. The graphics are good and the learning curve for the game is good too since you'll be able to get accustomed to the controls.

I loved the first Rival Schools and was really looking forward to this one. I went ahead and got the import because I knew the lazy bastards would just take out the board game/evolution stuff instead of translating it. The backgrounds are ok, but the music is completely forgettable. It isn't bad, but most of it doesn't really jam either. I do like the characters even the new ones. Underestimate Momo and you'll get torn up. The combo system is great but absolutely unforgiving. Your timing has to be spot on or that combo won't go anywhere. I don't know if the domestic is different but the import is that way. I would still recommend this game, especially at $20.

Later,
Jeff

My friend bought this game this past weekend and we played it almost non-stop! Awesome game! I love how you do super with SF motions. Not as much to unlock as I'd like, but I've got no complains for $20. Love all the artwork and graphics thoughout the game. Excellent! Story mode almost seems like an anime.

This game is tough to find too! I've searched about 7 stores looking for it. Some guy told me Capcom only made 10,000 copies. Does anybody know if this is true or not? I've had similar difficulties finding Mars Matrix, but I did finally manage to find a copy.

Guess I'm Silent Scope's opposite cause I love Rival Schools and felt it was tons more fun than SF II ever was. Recovery on specials still isn't as stressed as much as it should be (What else is new from Capcom). Would be nice if the computer could try fighting me without going for throws and that run behind me crap every 5 seconds too. Other than my usual complaints, a worthy sequel to Rival Schools.
