Team Fortress Classic

Or two player Puzzle Bobble, do you mean more than two player multiplayer?

i played 198 games of mario kart in a row.
the score got to be '99 to 99', and the game got all garbled.

i am so good, i can hit people from across the track with a THROWN banana. can you? i didnt think so, so be quiet, everyone.

For me it's the arcade version of Gauntlet or Saturn Bomberman. Mario Kart would be a close third.

Dunno man...four player NBA Jam in the arcade back in the day was THE SHIT. Having your profile and record via initials was wicked. Being champs on a given machine was a real point of pride.

I'm looking for the upcoming four-player NBA Street Vol.2 to rock my world similarly, especially with old-school Jordan and Bird gracing the proceedings.

Battle Mode on Super Mario Kart rocks the house.
I never cared for the N64 version, thought the lack of coin-powered top speed and over-reliance on weapons cheapened the game.

NBA Jam was great fun. A friend of mine and I actually got our pictures in the paper playing the machine at a local department store years ago. It was a slow news day. wink

NBA Jam was God back then.

I don't really remember but wasn't Mario Kart on the SNES on TWO PLAYERS??? The N64 sequel was 4 players.

When all is said and done Mario Kart recieved a ton and I mean TON of playtime from my brothers and I. Up all night playing it. We had the tracks memorized and some of the battles were intense.

1. Saturn Bomberman

You can disagree, but you'd be wrong. :D

2. Super Bomberman 2
3. Goldeneye (I've seen real life fights break out over this one)
4. NBA Jam (I've seen real life crying over this one)
5. Mario Kart 64

If computers were included, Team Fortress Classic at #2, Quake II at #3 and everything else stays the same.

And Super Mario Kart is a MUCH more polished, timeless game than Mario Kart 64 and would dominate this list if it were just 2 players.

Death Tank Zwei - NOTHING beats a 7 player game of Death Tank Zwei on Saturn.

Bomberman SS (Saturn Bomberman in the 'States) is second best. :)

SNES mario kart is 1-4 players. It also murders the N64 version (I thought it was crap). IMO it was a trend with SNES to N64 remakes, starfox is way better on SNES as well.

TFC or Counter-Strike. I could play either for hours on end without eating or sleeping. The Half-Life engine was a beautiful thing..

I say the snes bomberman, N64 bomber man, Goldeneye, DOOM for the Pc, Mario Kart (snes or N64), Super Smash Brothers Melee.... YES a VERY awesome game, Fifa soccer (you'd be surprised), and Battle Tanx N64....

Battle Tanx was a great game for head to head action. Not a good single player, but MP was great.

I am pretty sure Mario Kart on the SNES was only 2 player. I remember my family wishing it was 4. . .
