Paint Shop Pro 7 is absolutely FANTASTIC. Overall I MUCH prefer it to Photoshop, it has tons of great features and is much easier to use than Photoshop. You can't go wrong, especially considering its low price (about $90).EsKo:
That's what I'm getting now, just keeping my options open if there was something I don't kno about.
Thanks btw buttrock

. No history, no skew/distort, can only undo one at a time (gotta save often), almost no shortcuts (like ctrl+t))I don't know what kinda of stuff you'll be painting, but bar none go with Painter 7 (think that's the most current ver). All the stuff Photoshop has, but WAY better brusheS and color controls. I think it's an all around better paint program for creating art than Photoshop.EsKo:
What programs do you use to make graphics and edit photos?
I'm looking for something good![]()

THE GIMP
Freely available for MS Windows and all UNIX systems out there ( OS X, Solaris, IRIX, Linux, BSDs... ).
GIMP is sexy, script-fu blows my mind.sonic1687:
