Well it's coming to DVD! Pretty cheap too, 13 episodes a set for 22 bucks, for hardcore SF fans this is a great buy, this was never released on video/dvd before. It's english only BTW. In some ways it's better than SFV anime, in some it's not. They definetly show more characters each episode, V was just ryu, ken and guile (later on).

Man you mean you really liked that version of Street Fighter? I'd have rather had to watch an entire season of SF The Soap Opera with Jean Claude Van Damme as Guile. No bells and whistles for me, but I'm glad someone liked it. But then I'm just jaded because at the time I had become a Japanimation/Anime otaku. Who knows maybe I give it another try and will like it. wink

Yeah I heard about that when I was watching the Megaman DVD. Col. Guile with Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and some other make up the special for called Street Fighter. Sounds sooo gay. But may be worth $20 to laugh.

Akuma is in two episodes of the Street Fighter cartoon. One with him fighting against Guile and Bison and the other against Gouken in a flashback and both Ken and Ryu. I didn't really like the cartoon but I like one episode of it with the Final Fight characters.

I remember that show. That was about the age when I started to pick and choose the cartoons I watched and didnt really care for the USA cartoons. Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat were horrible.

I actually used to watch that series too. Cammy looked weird, the whole Blanka/Charlie thing irritated me, and Vega was only in two episodes.

Plus side: Vega did have a sexy voice. The voice actor was the same person who did Count Mecha (GE 999), Anubis/Sh'tendouji (Yotoden Samurai Troopers/Ronin Warriors) and Happosai (Ranma 1/2).

Yes, I have a thing with the seiyuus. :p

I actually remember the SFA/FF episode (where Ken and Ryu go into Metro City to stop the Mad Gears and they wind up fighting Sodom--sadly, we did not see the full glory of his "Japanism" :D ).

Seriously, though, that show was bad... so bad it was unintentionally funny. I actually enjoy watching stuff with "shabby" production values, like He-Man (the original) and Azumanga Daioh (well, they blatantly reuse animation, so that counts for something), so what can I say? SF is shit, and I love that shit.

Yes, I think he was in one. He might not be in an episode, but I remember that there was an animated movie of that SF cartoon, right? Well, animeondvd.com actually reviews or at least keeps info for these titles, so go check there. Anyone remember the Mortal Kombat cartoon? I remember I hated Night Wolf for some reason...(or whatever his name is)
