What's you favourite animal?

No spammming, nothing dirty, just what's your favourite animal as in animals you think are cool and you liked as alil' kid.

Anyone have a fave anima as a lil' kid as in wanting to own one as a pet? Well, it's illegal for having a certain animal without a liscense but it's great to have fond memories of the animal you wanted to be like huh?

My fave animals are cheetahs, grey wolves, nile crocodiles, lyre birds (they're gorgeous creatures they are), grizzley bears, japanese cranes and spiders.

So what's yours? Any fond cildhood memories to share?

I've always loved Hippo's and Rhino's... don't know why, just do. Remember going to London Zoo when I was younger to see some.... Kewl.

You know, I think I remember once going to Lodon Zoo myself. It was cool and loads of animals. The best places IMO are the Safari Parks where the animnals aren't in cages and ppl have to stay in their cars. Those are great IMHO.

Hm...my favorite animals are most kinds of dogs(Though the one we just got is giving all of us hell! <IMG SRC="smilies/mad2.gif" border="0"> ), and also giraffes(I get amazed a bit by the tallness, like grabbing stuff out of trees).

Well i guess I can post something here too. I don't care a whole lot for animals but as far as a house pet goes I like Singapura cats. For those who don't know what these are they are short hair cats the are the smallest domestic cat aroung. Males weighing in at 6 pounds and females around 4 pounds fully grown. I also like Chinchillas and ferrits I guess, though I would never own either one.

HERMIT CRABS ARE THE BOMB, I WANTED A HERMIT CRAB SO BAD WHEN I WAS A KID, you know, with his little shell and all!!! PAGOO, I LOVED THAT BOOK PAGOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...

I also liked turtles, especially box turtles...

And i luvved my pet doggie, Ernie, too, the ferocious mini-schnauzer!

As for ernie, um, he wasn't that special, i guess, hehe, just a dog. i guess i have special attachment to him because i was like 7 or 8 when his mother (another dog we owned named Sheba) gave birth to him. So since our family raised him from when he was a puppy, i guess i was more attached to him. It's funny, mini-schnauzers are pretty small dogs (i think they're the same size as small terriers), but back then, I thought ernie was a big dog, mostly because I was so little, lol. Now I look at old pics of him, and i go "Damn, he was a little dog, hehe."

i would really like a pet rabbit or a duckling. its against the state law to have a rabbit, so.

i kinda picture it would be nice to have a rabbit sitting on my desk munching on a vegetable of some sort, while i type. if a had a rabbit, i'd probably call him "Rupert." <IMG SRC="smilies/tongue.gif" border="0"> don't know why, though.

that or a duckling like Duck King's (with a long blue strand of hair) wading around in a fish bowl just beside me.

i'd also like a pet tiger cub if i wasn't afraid of it eating me. <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

early childhood memories of going to the zoo are kinda hazy, all i remember was that i was reluctant to go, and being tired because there weren't many seats. some of the animal enclosures were a bit small... the weirdest was that the entrance to the kangaroo-feeding area, there wasn't any attedants posted where the kangaroo food was sold, only a box with a sign saying "honesty box." <IMG SRC="smilies/spock.gif" border="0">
