You can get one from lik-sang, play-asia, and entware. The only con that i can think of is the lack of official english games. A lot of people use the system for emulation. Check out these links for more info:

Those are some of the sites. I'll give some more if interested. It's a very good system. I was seriously debating whether to get one or not, but now I'm probably going to get a GBA, Flash linker and the NES emulator. But the gp32 has like a million emulators and a full speed PCE one etc. It's great, best place to buy is play-asia.com but there are many more. Just PM me if you need any help!

Why not just convert the NES roms to GBA roms and save yourself some trouble?

It is Mac compatable and SNES emulation on it really sucks right now. The best emulator is the Turbo Grafx and SMS emu right now. The NES emu is ok as with the game boy. Few of the others would be MSX, C64. GP32x.com is my fav for info on new releases. And don't worry about game not having english because most of the retail games suck anyway.
But don't worry about that the homemade games rock. There is a new one comming out that I cannot wait for. Called Gina's Return wich is a remake of a C64 game called The Great Gina Sisters. Think it sounds like Super Mario Brother well thats because it almost an exact rip off.
