Mac users, what browser do you use?

After downloading Safari .67 and using it (tabs are nice), I'm finding that IE really may be the better browser to use. There are plenty of pages that just don't work correctly. IGN is a good example of shit that just doesn't work.

That and I find it just has some quirks depending on what sites you go to, and oddly enough the Microsoft product just works better. Same thing can be said for MS Office vs. AppleWorks.

Peace

same with some other sites that i frequently visit.

but i use both i.e. and netscape at home (netscape mainly for handling my emails), and I.E. at work.

Netscape = website butcherer.

Trying to design a website that looks and works right in netscape is like, really really not fun.

I would like to say that safari .64 is a lot better than .67 just because, the 67 you are using is pre-release and very glitchy. Compare 64 to IE on MAC and then make the judgement.

Camino is decent as well. Regardless, IE is MY LAST CHOICE when it comes to MAC web browsing.

Safari comes in first for me.

I'd like to say Safari .64, but honestly, I use Explorer more just because it displays my corporate webpage better (the one that I created), and on a Mac, that's a lot to ask for.

Well, whatever your choice, steer clear of AOL for OS X - it's fucking shit.

They provided all of three dial up #'s and it takes ages to get a connection... a lot of pages don't display properly... it can corrupt certain values that you enter... browser update is slow as fuck...

Just waiting for broadband to hit my little corner of the world so I can use BT Connect.

Aol... grrrr... fucking toss

I agree with Rade. Safari is my first choice also and Camino is the backup.

JHendrix: if you haven't tried Camino, you might want to give it a whirl. Maybe Camino will handle those sites better.

Not to be a dick but I find it Ironic that one of the biggest X-box supporters on the forum uses a Mac.

Wierd huh?

I support the XBox because it has good games and lets me do things no other console does. Thats about it. I don't have some hatred of the other consoles or companies(unlike most of the PS2 or GC supporters here do), I just play my games and if one system has more good games that I like over another it becomes my current "favorite".

Plus the fact that most people here are XBox/MS/Sony/PS2 haters and are blindly in love with Nintendo makes it kinda fun to pimp the BillyBox around.

Still I have always said: The Mac is the greatest computer on the planet, so long as you have a PC right next to it to game on. Thats why I have a Athlon 1800+ and a GeForce4 Ti running as my main PC rig. :D

Honestly though, I got the iBook because you can't get a better deal on a notebook that size. And yes, I generally like Macs, but I like WinXP too. If I use just one OS all the time, I get bored; I'm a Computer Engineer, it goes with the territory.

Peace

Camino 0.7 (Mozilla for OSX)
Occasionally IE5.2 (there's only one page that I frequent that I must use it on); I'd probably use it more frequently if they had a pop-up blocker in there somewhere. =P

Indeed. Even before the first full version, Camino rules. :D

Camino here, almost only Camino, yet it is still a bit buggy. I just love the speed and slick layout.

Why do you insist on posting in Mac threads when you never have anything of any use to say in them?

IE for OSX works pretty well, but it occasionally crashes. The other browsers I think are more stable. I usually use IE, but if I'm having any troubles I'll switch to Mozilla or this thing my brother DLed for me, "Navigator" (not Netscape).
