This beauty was released yesterday here in Spain, so today I've just bought mine along with Golden Sun. (A friend if mine told me that it's better than Zelda 4 swords, is it true? spock )

Have many people in the forums bought it? It seems that Playmore is releasing some games for GBA (King Of Fighters, Metal Slug...) and that decided me to buy it. drool

BTW, I've heard that the first models released in Japan had some problems with the screen like burnt pixels, dirt behind the screen and so. Does anybody suffered that? Mine is on charge and I won't be testing it one another hour frown

I've played my GBA SP a good bit lately and haven't noticed any problems.

As far as games, if you've already played Zelda:Link to the Past then I'd go with Golden Sun. From what I've heard the GBA version of LttP is only worth getting if you've got 3 other friends to play it with.

Got mine a few days ago. So far only one burnt pixel (dosen't bother me), other than that the system is butter.

Finally the batteries are charged and I've tried my SBA SP. Everything's perfect! :) No burnt pixels and the display is great with illumination! I'm very happy with my new toy drool

And now let's wait for Metal Slug Advance!

I bought one, light was kinda dim and there was a piece of dust in the screen. Returned it for one with a brighter light, and a piece of dust in the exact same goddamn place! At least this piece is small enough that you can't notice it from normal viewing distance.

burnt pixel?! Never seen that yet.

i didn't think you could get burnt pixels with the new screens.

if you got dust under the screen take it back... seriously... internal dust can be bad (I know its not much.. but still).

Golden sun.... is an AWESOME GAME!. I wouldn't say better than ALTTP... but... They are BOTH awesome.

I don't really know what to think about the dust/burnt pixel stuff. Nintendo usually has high quality durable stuff (like my Metroid Fusion cart that I dropped in a glass of coke :D and it still works!) My japanese SP is awesome with no flaws, but my little brother's US one has dust under the screen. I think I may return it. Dust was the one major problem with installing the Afterburner light and I could get it down to very few particles but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a dust-free Afterburner install (contrary to what the ebay actions say wink ) Anyway, I thought Nintendo would have that solved.
