Are you a fan? Are you a hater? It's true he starts shit, but do you like when he does it? Are you one of those people who doesn't like RAP, but loves Eminem? How do you feel about the "Controversial White Rapper"? By the way, for those of you who think that his new album sucks ass, how can you call yourself a hip hop fan?

He is like a spammer of the radio, filling it with annoying crap and starting shit with people for no apperant reason.

For the most part, I don't like rap that much. There IS some that I enjoy a lot (we're talking old "gansta" rap, Busta Ryhmes, DMX, and yeah, Eminem). I think Em's first two CDs were great, and this one's only got a few songs that are good from what I can tell... so far. Not nearly the quality of the first two, two that jumped out at you right away and were good.

I could care less what color he is, he's pretty good. But the third CD isn't his best.

Spike my man, his third CD is the best one he's dropped. You don't like Square dance, or Superman, not even Till I collapse? His best album I think! <img src="graemlins/drool2.gif" border="0" alt="[Drool 2]" />

Concerning the eminem show, the beats are whack. I enjoyed his "underground" stuff and his first two cds much more.

These are the best beats I've heard from him. It's probably because this album is more serious than his previous stuff, that people don't like it. Less emphasis is placed on the corny shit this time.

I've listened to rap for a long time, the first album I ever bought being Run-DMC's Tougher Than Leather. I was a big fan of Dr. Dre's early work with NWA and many others. I think Em is a truly gifted MC, his lyric writing and rhyming skills are truly impressive, definitely the kind formed from winning many show battles. I think the problem with him right now is that instead of relying on his amazing skills, he's leaning too heavily on the fact that he's caused a lot of controversy, and becoming too infatuated with his battles with the media. The single "Without Me" is a prime example. I think he's doing himself a disservice by doing so, and should stop worrying about all that bullshit and just write dope albums. He runs the risk of becoming a one trick pony by focusing on that shit. Remember 2 Live Crew?

Very good points Loopz. I like his 3rd CD... its fun to listen to. Eminem like most modern music should be taken w/ a grain of salt. Most of it is just part of the show.

I give him a thumbs up and the album too.

well eminem is probably the one rapper out there. compare him to all the other rappers, he stands out particularly becuz of his lyrics fill with messages about his life. look at other rappers, all they do is talk about rich cars, houses, girls. my god, is that some kind of rapping rule stating you have to talk about girls, cars, and big houses in all your songs?

I'll have to disagree with you El Duque. It's very true many rappers talk about money and cars non stop, (Jermaine Dupri, Puffy) but you obviously haven't heard most of the skillfull artist. Don't think all they talk about is money and material shit, because they don't. Pop a Nas, DMX, or Xzibit album into your CD player...then see what I mean.

White rappers will never be cool, no matter how good they are, they still look goofy to me.

To me he seems to be controversial simply to sell CD's, not to actual say something he truly believes in. Putting his daughter on some tracks too?! What the fuck is all that about?
Also Dr.Dre is the biggest genital parasite on the rap industry's hairy muff.
:D
Disagree? Like I care...
