How many Genesis hardcore gamers are here?

Sorry guys that I don't have many Genesis games but I only keep the games I play the most.

I'm not a real collector but I prefer my Genesis/Mega Drive games to be in mint and complete condition.

I only have 20 games in hand

What's my favorite games? Ghouls and Ghosts and MERCS. Sega did really good job porting Capcom games on Genesis. NEC Avenue, on the other hand, did lousy job porting Capcom games on PC Engine.

I'm not hardcore as such but i do own a few games

My latest are Splatterhouse 2, which is fantastic and Fighting Masters which i love but alot of guys hate it

I only bought Fighting Masters because Lee Gray brought it up in a thread and reminded me about it

The Mega Drive is a cracking wee piece of kit and in all honesty i only bought it with the Mega cd to play Panic!! which is the funniest game ever

Ranger -X is pretty sweet but honestly any Thunderforce game is fantastic

One of the best shoot em up to grace a console and the soundtrack is amazing as well

I dunno why, but I never liked Ranger X, but My fav games that I have are:

Splatter House 3(MD version near mint and complete)

Strider (MD version near mint and complete)

Streets of Rage 3 (USA bare)

Syd of Valis
Blaster Master 2
Rocket Knight Adventures
Contra Hard Corps
Castlevania Bloodlines

and its also good to have these 2 games if you have a NOMAD

Super Street Fighter II
and
Samurai Shodown

best portable versions of these 2 games .

I love the Genesis and still have a few games for it. I also only collect what I play, but all games MUST be complete:

The Strike Series
NHL '94
Pirates! Gold (I can't get enough of this game!)
Risk (a BLAST with 6 players)
Street Fighter 2: SCE
FIFA '95

And the last one I bought (and possibly the crown jewel): ISS Deluxe. I won it on ebay from a seller in the UK and it came mint and complete. I can't tell you how good this game is. US players missed out on the best soccer game that never came out for the Genesis. Good thing PAL Mega Drive games play on US systems. The only thing I'm looking for now is getting the Streets of Rage games (2 and 3) and then I'll have everything I want for it.

I have assloads of genisis games. My pride and joy though is Phantasy Star 4 and Gunstar Heroes. The dickhead I bought GH form sen me the manual insert and cart, but no box. I just need that for it to be complete.

My collection is half US & half JPN

Once I tried to get rid of my US games and replace with JPN version........

Well, I failed ....

Because it's hard to find a mint, complete game unless you pay big $$$..........

The worst part of this hobby is that most of my games sit in a completely different state about 85% of the year.

Ahhhh! I love the Mega Drive/Genesis! Soo many great memories with that system! Just got a shippment of 11 great games for my MD (in addition to the many I already have!), and man, I still love em'! Good ol' Old-school Sega Values!

ETERNAL CHAMPIONS!!! I remember being obsessed with that game... haven't played it in years... how does it hold up today? I used to use Trident all the time. The special move where he "liquidates" past the enemy was way too sweet.
