I drove one of those toyota prius's...

Jesus that car sucks, no pickup at all.

I was doing 65 feeling like I was going 5mph.

What a great car...my friend has one that's gone through some engine mods...It was a stock WRX turbo that he upgraded the turbo and intercooler and changed some of the internals (I don't know everything he had changed wink )

It's a great ride...the pick up is great...as soon as you steap on the gas, your gone!!! mr_t

You might want to wait for a little while longer, the face is getting a restyle and a hot WRX STi version is coming out.

I dont own one, im an american fan, but a guy i work with has one. The only complaint he has with the car has been a chartering with his clutch. Subaru said there were many complaints about this and are looking for the right fix. Its a pretty quick car could see how you could have fun with it but as someone said wait a little longer for the wrx sti.

I don't own one, but I want to though. I did however drive my friend's WRX and I that car is sweet. With a little bit of tuning to the engine and the suspension, that car is one of the best rides I have ever driven. Like the others have said though, wait for the STI version, its an uprgraded version of the WRX.

By the way, you lucky bastard.

doesn't Joe McCabe drive this car?
Sounds familiar, I think he does...

Back on topic, I would prefer a Lancer Evo instead...

But if you want a real rally car, you need something like this:

Isnt that a Lancia Delta Intagralle S4. Driven a Mitshi evo5 which was awesome, raw power that sticks to the road and stops as well as it goes.
Subaru WRX ? never driven one but like the look and specs, I imagine it would be, well you know what I mean --------------------------->

If you plan on modifying it at all pick another car. The newer US WRXs are plauged with transmission problems and upping the horse power makes it worse. I know a guy with a 2002 wrx that is modded, he has been through 4 trannys.

Check my sig for a best bang for the buck car.
Thats my 94 Supra Twin Turbo.
400hp at the wheels with less than $1500 worth of mods.
That's 450-460hp at the crank!(no NOS) Theese cars are 320hp stock!
The stock tranny can hold over 700 horse with an upgraded clutch.

My honest opinion, get a used "higher performance" car.

With gas prices slowly on the rise, how
can you guys buy these gas hogs? Seems a
waste to me.

The subarus really aren't that fast, they are good for rally racing where you don't need alot of horse power, but on the the track or the strip they are slower than alot of performance cars.
And as far as being left for dead I go toe to toe with vipers and such all the time.
A WRX wouldn't even be a race.

Anyways, I was just offering my opinion.
He could get a much better car that is used for the same price.
If you still have doubts for the MKIV Supra check out the videos on this website: www.mkiv.com

No offense, but let me share with you a video of a 10-second WRX that could eat a viper for lunch
