Shit, what kind of "religious references" could be in a fighter?! And I thought only the German censors would be idiots.

I thought its UK release was cancelled because of poor reviews. I cant remember where I read that though, and besides, it would be unlikely seeings as bad review scores have hardly ever stopped any other game from coming out.

If Kakuto Chojin is pulled for religious reference, I suspect games like Hunter: The Reckoning could be next.
Either way, I've seen plenty of copies of this game at stores. I'll pick one up and keep it sealed as it is sure to become another Air Force Delta Storm! I love the $$$$$$$$$$

Well if you havent played the game yet, unless your worried about NEVER seeing this game again, don't buy it. It is only for collectors purposes. This game was made/distributed by microsoft. You think thay are going to let it just drop off the face of the earth? Nope. Besides the game sucked ass from the demo. Bad alisaing and the polys are too shiny. The game is far to easy. Blahh, I had no intention of ever getting this game, but it might catch a few $$$ on the ebay.

Why buy the game at all? It's total shit. I haven't played a fighting game that bad since Rise of the Robots and Fight for Life, seriously. I'm glad the game is being recalled, my gamestop can't ger rid of the 12 copies we got when it first shipped.
It won't be worth shit, it wasn't rare when it came out, and it's an awful game. The ones that become worth anything are the good games that get shafted on distribution, not turds that get discontinued months after they were widely available.

No loss here kids. That game was pure muck. Maybe the whole "religious offense" thing was a front because they knew they released a doo-doo bomb.

To be honest, I only read an article in a gaming mag about it and saw a couple of screens, and I put it on my list because, hey, it's a fighter after all... but if it's really THAT bad (someone mentioned Rise of the Robots... I'm shocked...) I guess I could basically live without it.
Anyway, I think it should be left to the gamer what he likes and what not, at least they should have the balls to admit that they stop sales because it doesn't pay instead of making up a story about offensive religious references. oh_no
