Capcom's upcoming 3D Fighting All-Star Game, and their GBA Puzzle Fighter game?

Anyone played the GBA version of SPFII Turbo yet? I think it's out already. The cover has Sakura and gems in the background. It looks cool, but I never seen an in-game pic before of it.

As for Capcom's upcoming 3D Fighting All-Stars, it's for PS2 and even Haggar is in it. Everyone know anything more on this? I saw it previewed in EGM once about 3 issues ago, but never saw/heard/read anything on it since. It looks pretty good for a console only game especially.

All I know about Capcom Fighting All-Stars (or whatever is called) is that Akira from Rival Schools wil be in it.
Therefore I will almost definatelty be buying a copy.

I've heard only negative things about fighting all stars. Never played it yet, so I will reserve my judgement 'till I do.

Though I know its not made by ARIKA, I've soured three times before by 3D Street Fighter so my hopes are pretty low at this time.

Who knows, maybe capcom will finally be able to pull of the 2D feel in 3D.

But why not just make a good looking 2D game instead. It's probably cheaper.

Sigh, I guess old Cappers wants to continue to alienate the 2D Street Fighter fan by trying to capture the Mainstreamy 3D crowd.

And, I'm not anti 3D, not by any stretch of the way, but it should be that certain franchises remain 2D. I don't understand the need to take game that are defined by their look and feel, and convert it to something that will please the 18-35 year old will enjoy showing off on their new flat screen Tvs. It's a slap in the face to fans that would have bought the game had it stuck to it's roots.

And ironincally, I guarantee that had Capcom developed 2D street Fighters instead of 3D ones, thwey would have made more money. But Im not good with Money. never was never will be. So I dont know much about it on that end.

All I do know is that videogames are very bland and uninspired lately. And I actually do play a lot of them.

Puzzle Fighter 2 isn't due out in the US till 4/16/03. frown

I thought Capcom All Star's was supposedly going to play a lot like Rival Schools...

Capcom has shitloads of 3D games that play like 2D games.

Well...two anyway. Both are fast paced and pretty damned good for 3D fighters. Fighting All-Stars sounds cool if it's gonna play like Project Justice. drool_2

Project Justice is Excellent.

If this is simialr it should be enjoyable.

Though i can't help but feel Hagger's return should have been 2D...

Hmmm, I wonder if the "original" Cody will be in this game? That would kick ass. Although he should have been "original style" in Zero 3... but let's not beat a dead horse.

It was only shown once at an arcade expo and was panned by hardcore players & operators alike so Capcom delayed it.
