Right i love this comedy program and its just been shown over in the states since they bought the rights to it from the BBC

What do the American members think if it????

and if you havent watched it - give it a try, the brentmeister cracks me up

I know the BBC were worried incase the americans didnt get it and thought it was a genuine live program about office workers :)

I've never seen it (yet), but I happen to like some of the British comedies they show on my local PBS station. I like Fawlty Towers, Keeping Up Appearances and my all-time favorite, Are You Being Served!

AbFab, sweetie... :)

Actually did "Never Mind the Horrocks" play more then a couple of episodes? TVOntario showed one or two episodes of it and I wanted to catch some more. There was also something called "The Pretenders" (I think) and it was a spoof of "The Avengers" which looked interesting as well.

*SIGH*. Any, I don't think it's playing here (In Canada at least) Buster, but then again, there is BBC Canada on digital cable/satellite. I don't watch enough TV to warrant splurging for Digital Cable ('sides digital cable isn't that great. :p )

AM-NeoGeo: You do know they have a complete box set for "Are You Being Served?" and I've even seen an "Are You Being Served?" movie. wink Although "Are You Being Served, Again?" was kinda freaky to watch. Eeep, everyone's just sooo much older. wink

Ricky Gervais is so funny!

I used to love him on The Eleven O'clock Show.

At least when they gave him a series he actually managed to remain as funny as ever!
Not like Ali Gee.

I didn't know that there was a complete boxed set available. I'll check Amazon.com and maybe even order it! Never knew there was a movie either! Although, I have seen a few episodes of Are you Being Served, Again as PBS sometimes airs one of those episodes. It is kinda freaky, seeing how the entire staff is working together at that English Inn! Funny stuff.

The creepiest thing about "Are You Being Served, Again" was how much more badly Wendy Richard aged than Mollie Sugden.

Anyone ever seen a complete set of "Dad's Army" on dvd? The largest collection I've seen so far is a 3 disc set which just isn't enough John Le Mesurier for me.

If you have a fast connection ? there is a good quality copy of Dog Soldiers on Kazaa.

I watched The Office the other day on BBC America , its not bad , my favorite is Keeping up Appearances though. I love how everyone tries to hide from MRS Bucket.

Funny show ! lol
