Am I the only one who doesn't like Ratchet & Klank? There are other games that should have gotten an award nod before that game

I am glad to see Eternal Darkness up for the game of the year... that was truely one of the most unique/best games to date.

This was a pro good game post. Nothing more, nothing less. And I for one feel this game deserves every award it gets. Amazing game.

More than 1 game involved though. Also includes PC, PS2, and 1 Xbox game each per category.

It is relevant information. Not necesarily pro gamecube. Its pro-gamecube-game.

its a good game too.. well deserving.

Also one of the mosre underspoken games of the year. It looked and played a lot better thant he goofy insert art portrayed. I mean, it was serious stuff and respectfully reflected HP Lovecraft, Poe, and many other horror writers of the past century. I was personally in heaven with that game when I got to play as the black fireman.

I still haven't had time to defeat the game yet... man.. it really does get hard after about the 5th guy.

It still keeps my interest.. with the sanity meter and all. I cannot believe it didn't go over better than it did.

Great story, plot, characters, everything about the game was great.

It gets hard if you don't watch your sanity bar.

Once you get the spell to regain life and sanity, you're in the green. But if you're low on sanity, your health drops too, and then you're toast.

Not to turn this into gang-up on ngam, but I'm with Spike. If someone posts a topic about a new cleaning kit, you'll chime in with "YES! Yet another great accessory for X-Box Owners!!".

Having a preferance for one system over another is fine, so is having a preferance for a game or a game type...but then there's being annoying.

You're cool with me whenever you're not pulling that shit, particularly when you said you'd curb it you were doing well, lately it's just lame as hell.

Drift King and I always fight about consoles and shit but there's only a certain degree where it's interesting and outside-fanboyism.

It's just really tired.

Its definitely one of those "best game you've never played" type games. Its also one of those "best games ever made" games. :)

I hope people can look past all the hype that is GTA:Vice City,though.I mean,it's a good game and all,but this type of game rely heavily on its gimmicks.I'm glad to see games like Metroid Prime and Eternal Darkness get the props they deserve! Metroid Prime,especially ,because before it even came out,everyone and the media bashed it,saying how it was a let-down and how wack it was going to be.Well,guess what?It's one of the best games of 2002!Believe that!

BTW, I also dig the shit out of Eternal Darkness. First game in a long time where I was actually glued to the story, not to mention the amazing atmosphere, music, and gameplay.

THE Sleeper of 2002. Anyone who dismissed that game as an RE clone should have their head examined.

I know.. that music seemed to draw me in.

With all the spooky knocks and slams.... TURN the game up loud and turn out the lights... its bought to give you the chills a bit... especially whensome of the sanity effects start lol :)
