Is that the pad that looks like an SNES one with the Z button as a face button?

How does the screen size measure up and does it have extras like the super gameboy did (border editing, etc.)?

anyone able to try this on a Panasonic Q yet?

...
I thought someone mentioned that it didn't work on the Panasonic Q (don't remember who though)?

Yep, thats the pad, and yes it has options that the Super Gameboy had (minus a custom color config menue for old GB games, but you can select pre-sets like the GBA did). Two sreen sizes are available, and a refresh rate selection is included as well to eliminate blurring.

NCSX thinks there may be a solution. I'm just wondering if anyone has tried it to see what is holding it all back...

It's me

GB player will not work on Panasonic Q.
Venders are waiting for a special adaptor if any 3rd party will make one.

Do you have a link or a pic of that pad. It sounds very awesome. I've always felt the GC pad design was odd and cumbersome. It sounds like this controller could be a nice change. Thanks for the help man.

The GBA player and the Q aren't compatable because of the feet on the bottem of the Q mainly. I had a link to the article and I will try to look it up.

EDIT: <a href="http://planetgamecube.com/previews.cfm?action=profile&id=236" target="_blank">http://planetgamecube.com/previews.cfm?action=profile&id=236</a>

found it.

After flipping over my Panasonic Q after I got home, I understood why the Game Boy Player will not fit on the hardware. The legs on the unit would get in the way. You could remove the legs from your Q to make it fit, but personally, I’m not amputating my Q.

No. But after starting a game and playing around with the menu, you can figure everything out.

Thanks for the pic. It looks good. I just wish they would have swithced the buttons back to a semi-decent configuration then the goofy big A small b and surrounding X and Y. It's just too cumbersome. Oh well, the d-pad looks much bigger and if I plat GBA games on the GC I'll only be niding the A&B buttons, so I guess it's not too bad.

how much is the gba player gonna cost at us launch?
I've heard around fifty bucks. I'm more worried about what colors they are releasing here. I hope we get everything Japan did.

Do the sprites look BIG ?

I cant imagine that the castlevania games look very good on a 50 inch screen .
