It's a pretty good game. So there!
Your opinions are welcome, but without asking for personal photos. Thank you for a civilized discussion. :)

Well since you started your own thread, I'll just copy my response from the other thread over here:

Well I played it again at Funcoland tonight (I hate Funcoland with a passion, but I stop by once in a long while to see if they have any "reasonable" deals, which they never do). Once again I was totally unimpressed . . . didn't even have the interest to get beyond the first lame door (too much work to find the stupid key). I also hate the way the camera works, seems like there is no way to "lock" it into place, its always wandering all over and doesn't reorient itself well at all (without intervention). The graphics of course sucked and the look and feel are totally wimpy. Other than that, its a great game . . .

It's cool man. You're entitled to your opinions and all.
As long as them trolls don't start invading this thread, it's all good.
Man, so many games coming out, I can't handle it all. :D

So I just beat the Deku Forest level.
I can't see an emotionally stable human being not being touched by this game.

If you give it a good chance, and walk away from it with no feelings, you're frankenstein.

Awesome game

It's more like Waterworld than Zelda...

Way too much useless water in the damn game.

Agree completely. And, weirdly enough, I'm at the exact same spot that you are. Been playing all day, can't stop exploring the open seas but that damn ship keeps making me go where he wants to go. Yeah, big man! If only I weren't 8 years old!

But everything is spot on Zelda. The music, the items, the fairy in the bottle saving my neck...it's all so good. And the cartoon smoke and water effects look like a Disney cartoon, the graphics are so good.

Can you tell I like it?

I'd just like to add that the music in this game is worth crying over.

Also, I spent a good 5 minutes just sitting on the boat when night-time came. It was one of the most atmospheric zones I've ever experienced in a video game. EVER eek! eek!

Ok so i have only got to play a little bit. I just got the sword. But i must say: Damn this game is gorgeous, there are so many fine details like water dripping off you after you are done swimming. So far my time with the game has been very enjoyable. The opening story was just brilliant. I'd be playing it right now if i didn't have to do some studying.

Hey I'll admit that the game is good, but god damn dude do you need a tissue or something? :p

I will say this, after playing it today at school (friend of mine had it hooked up in the lab), especially after playing the SNES remake on the GBA SP I'm officially on a Zelda kick.

And yes, the gameplay is good enough where you just forget how much you hate the graphics (if you did in the first place).

Peace

Im up to the Forsaken Fortress and I got lost in the dungeons for awhile while walking in circles but i know where to go. i had to get off to do some hw. so hopefully tom i can get through the dungeon. the game is great so far its ocarina of time with nice gfx. although i hated majora's mask i loved the ocarina of time. Everything you would expect from zelda's gameplay is there and i really would hate it if this game were short.

Just started playing this tonight. Love the style... I'm sure this game will not disappoint. Unemployed and the new Zelda in my possession. What to do?

Fuck it, I'll get a job next week. :D

I had my brother pick up my copy today... along with Dynasty Warriors 4. It was a toss up as to what I would play first, but since DW3 was one of my all time favorite games, I played that first. They made a lot of changes to it (DW4), but left it the same, if you know what I mean.

Zelda plays just like OOT, which is not a bad thing. I liked the Zelda theme "remix" they had in the opening. I played for about 2 hours or so. Just got to the part where you get the boat thing.

I really do like the graphical style on this game, regardless of how "kiddy" it looks. And to anyone who says "Link" is too young, how old do you think he looked in the NES Zelda and Link to the Past? Let alone the GB Zeldas... I will admit that a more "mature" Link like the one at Spaceworld and in Soul Calibur 2 would be cool as well, anyone who tries to say that this game isn't a Zelda is full of shit.

I've logged about 2 hours with the new Zelda so far and from what I've seen I can safely say that it kicks quite a lot of ass. buttrock
