Its just great that trailer it is, if those FMV's are represntative of how good the game is, im gonna shit in my pants.

Ive waited my whole life for this game, better get a western release or else!!

Nothing can beat Mystery of convoy tho, its best TF game eva buttrock

If the game plays as good as it looks I'll finally buy me another PS2, for that it would be worth it. Never did care for the PSone Transformer game with the "Beasts"... going back to G1 is the way to go though.

It would be interesting to see a gundam VS transformer game. what do you think about that?

Quite finally: if that video is representative of things to come, then we will finally have a Transformers game worthy of the Transformers label.

I'm curious though- despite the anachronism with the Matrix and Rodimus Prime, lots of the Optimus/Megatron footage really looks like it mimics the movie. Just a point of thought.

Wow, another trailer with the patented Playstation 2 "no actual gameplay footage" seal of approval.

For all we know after watching this trailer, the game could be a fighting game, an RPG, or heck even a party game!

Rock on you playstation 2 trailer trash! (the trailer that is, not the poster; thanks for at least giving us a bit of hope this game won't suck)

Very nice, But it makes me wonder....There hasn't been a good Transformers game so what makes you think this one will be?....hmmm...

That trailer simply rocked. I can feel the old sensations of Megatron love returning!

Seriously, I hope it turns out to be great, like a third-person action/adventure but I have a bad feeling that it'll end up being a 3D fighter.

I'm not to impressed so far actually. It is based off Transformers the movie obviously, which means Optimus will only be in the begining of the game. I don't think the character movements are done very well, I hope they polish that up. The design looks a little rough too. There is just something that doesn't quite seem right. I'm sure it will be the best trans game yet, but that isn't saying much.

The trailer looked good, but it's done by WinkySoft? That sounds very risky to me. Why can't a company like Capcom or Konami do a Transformers game? It seems Infogrames gets ever license in thw world and royally screws them over.

I mean really, it's not the coolest thing to go up to other gamers and say, "I have the newest Transformers game by WINKYSOFT!! Yes that's right WINKYSOFT!! :D

If I wanted to see a movie without any gameplay... I'd... do just that. Watch the movie.

Cost to produce that > 0$
Amount I've bought into it = 0$

Add to reasons why I own nothing more recent than a super NES.

That is the first Transformers game I have ever seen even though that the first Transformers game was for the NES/Famicom the last time I heard and there are a couple of Beast Wars games, some of them aren't good but anyway, I wonder if it is going to be an action/adventure, fighting, shooter or a beat'em up or something original when it comes to gameplay.

You know, I watched the thing again yesterday... and I noticed that the character breakdown just doesn't equate in the same time continum, especially when it's leadership styles...

Megatron ---> Galvatron
O. Prime ---> R. Prime

From the looks of this, I thin it's either going to be based loosely off the movie, or maybe perhaps Takara might try a little time travel action with the storyline?

And while speculation is in effect, I remember a friend telling me a while back that a Transformers RPG was in the works for the XBox. Perhaps Takara opted for a change of venue...

Just a thought...

yeah, well they can do what they want where the TF universe is so fucked up.

Towards the end of series 3 and Headmasters, both Prime n Rodimus lived.

And in the comics here, Galvatron went back in time to "recriut" Megatron, so who knows, id say too it sure looksa movie based, though from the FMV we cant tell anything of the style of game.
