The site itself isn't very entertaining, but what really puts it over the top is the ridiculous knee-jerk reactions it generates from the slower members of society. Of course the site in question is nothing more than a tactless joke/parody, and it sure as hell isn't a recent development, either. In fact, this is rather old, stale news and has generated similar threads on numerous message boards, such as the computer/tech. related on I hang out on in addition to this one. Read ALL of the following WIRED Magazine article for the full story:

Regardless, that site should be removed from the internet, it's disgusting.
I also find the IDEA the site puts forth to be unappealing, but would you really want to have our precious 1st Ammendment Rights violated in order to get rid of something rather trivial that you find offensive? Violation of the 1st Ammendment is the necessary course of action that would be required in getting this site ousted from the web. Maybe you would have no problem with the government being called in to mediate the removal of such a site, but I value free speech a bit too much to just sit by and allow something like that to take place. The same people who want sites like this purged from the net are probably the same ones who wanted WHITE SWEAT to be put in place of the red blood in the US Release of Metal Slug. After all, if some little kiddie see a cat get stuffed into a jar, they're surely going to go out there an emulate that action, aren't they? Maybe so, but that person has other, greater problems that would cause them to do such a thing. Personal responsibility for individual actions shouldn't be shifted off onto "things" like web sites, and people shouldn't be willing to let personal freedoms slip over something as MEANINGLESS as a web site that's obviously a low-brow joke - however tasteless/cruel that "joke" may be.
Actually, this whole thread was probably an elaborate attempt at a troll. I don't know why I'm even wasting my time by responding to it...
