Anyone see this <a href="http://www.donga.com/fbin/output?f=todaynews&code=w0_&n=200206100461&main=1" target="_blank">crap</a> at Donga.Com? They still think it was unjust that their skater got busted at the Olympics, so they decide to drag it out at the World Cup. <img src="graemlins/ohno.gif" border="0" alt="[Oh No]" />

I dont understand why the civilized world agreed to allow the world cup to be hosted in a country where dogs are eaten. The country is garbage. We should've napalmed all the women.

Since when is any victory display in soccer not childish? Have you been watching the same matches I have?

I watched the game live (since it was 11:30pm PST) and I thought it was sorta funny. I really don't see how any of you can take it that seriously, heck -even the players didn't. It was so goofy you just had to start laughing. Fun game. That gusher that split on the Korean player's head was a trip.

Then you get the idiot brigade like Kid Aphex talking and well... :rolleyes:

...the really funny thing is that he'd probably be the type of player to also do the childish "in your face" act (but then again, I'm a Laker fan, so what can I say? -other than other NBA fans all need to bow down...).

I understand how they feel... if I had victory snatched from my grasp, right or wrong, I'd be pissed off too. Can't say whether I'd hold a grudge for that long, but I'd be upset about it.

That said, it makes me wonder, what if the WC had taken place in Russia, and there was a Russia-Canada game, and the Russian team mocked that pairs figure-skating team? Don't think it couldn't happen.

Free Hot Dogs (with real dog) are being given out to supporters pre match. And its all washed down with dogs kidney stew!!
Did you know until very recently koreans used to flog dogs to death with canes to "tenderise" the meat, and "enhance" the flavour. Pretty sick.And in shop windows canine meat is hung from hooks to "entice" would be buyers.

BTW, Korea was not robbed at the Olympics, the skater was disqualified after cutting into someone else's lane.
