Link in Soul Calibur 2

According to gamers.com as well as some japanese sites (although they did link gamers.com as thier source) Link will be in the GameCube version of Soul Calibur, he will be the older link from the Zelda demo in Spaceworld from last year (not the new 'Celda' Link).

Sounds like Bullshit to me, but Nintendo is sorta in cahoots with Namco now, so I suppose it's possible.

It does sound like bull, but not enough to entirely dismiss it. That would be a really sweet idea though, nice to see Link in a fighting game besides Smash Bros.

Nintendo and Namco have been working together, along with Sega, to make the TriForce arcade board. Maybe some ideas were tossed back and forth between the two. Nintendo let Capcom work on the GBC and GBA Zelda game's, maybe they have faith in Namco into putting Link in Soul Calibur 2.

I like the concept (if it's true), much better than Gon in Tekken 3, that's for sure!

Although I'm sure there will be many opposed to having Link in a fighting game.
