I know I can't be the only one, but it sorta seems I'm the only one rooting for it these days.

Hell, the reason I know all of these upcoming Square games is anytime I hear "Square to make 12 new games for the PS2" or whatever I immediatly sprint to the post and pray.

I mean, it's seriously a super solid game and it's loads of fun. I'd like for them to keep the gourad shading but do you think that's it? That maybe it lacks occular confectionary?

I like Tobal #1 a lot and the very very little I played of #2 totally cemented it as a great franchise.

ME DAMMIT!!!! I WANT ANOTHER TOBAL!!! Tobal 2 is my favorite 3D fighting game. At least release Tobal 2 in America so i can understand the manual.
I also would like to see a Bushido Blade 3.

Blaine I'm not so sure if it would be a good thing. Not even taking into account Final Fantasy series, Square seems to have a track record of simplifying their sequals. Just look at Bushido Blade 1 to Bushido Blade 2. An even worse example is Tobal 2 to what was originally supposed to be its spiritual successor: The Bouncer. :(

I feel it's a game that shouldn't be tampered with if you know what I mean.

Yes, I want it too if possible. But hoew long has it been since No.2?

Don't you think those Square dudes have forgot this game already? ;)

Yeah, maybe you're right. There is seriously a very small thumping pulse in the region of my heart that skips everytime I think of a 5,000 poly flat-shaded model.

I don't know, maybe you have to do 3D to appreciate that sorta...I don't want to say 'irony'...but I guess 'style'. Because that's what it is, for me that's like mixing 2D and 3D in Xenogears.

It's just something that would take some serious sand.
