Another elusive song... Please help me find it.

djbomberman got his answer for a song he was inquiring about, so I'm hoping someone in here will know just who in the hell sung a song called

"If I had a rocket launcher."

I remember seeing the video for this weird song back during the early 80's on MTV. It was some white guy with a bad mullet of blonde hair and it had him singing a folk like song about all the woes of the world, and juxtaposed scenes of starving kids in Africa, people being abused all around the country... then would flash back to the guy singing in some rain forrest and the guy's mantra was...

"If I had a rocket launcher... If I had a rocket launcher, I'd make somebody pay!"

To this day the singer eludes me and almost no one I've ever run into save 3 others (who also don't know the singers name) remembers this video or the song itself. Does this ring any bells at all? And no I'm not making this shit up the song does exist as well as the video as it came out around the time of "Video killed the Radio Star". I'd like to someday find the song just to prove to the masses that it exists, not to mention that was pretty damned politically incorrect for the time it was released.

Fire up Audiogalaxy... I'd bet they have it.

Thanks, FeelGood... finally someone knew after all these damn years who did that song. Apparenly the guy has fansites and what not, now I'm going to order a CD or Cassette with that song on it and force everyone who ever called me a liar to listen to "If I Had A Rocket Launcher" for the amount of years I was called a liar, which is somewhere around 15 years, so I have a bunch of ppl to prove 15 times over that it indeed is a real song!
