So, what's it like to be in love?

Is it like the sense of satisfaction of looking at the spines of your AES collection? or the feeling of a Kendo stick in your palm?

Can any of you with experience shed some light onto this question? I'm sure I'm never going to experience it, due to a paranoid notion of fear mixed with a general distrust of everyone under 18. (Well why else build a fort in your bedroom to hide fro the outside world?)

Yes..

Sorry,Sorry I was just playing a KOF game on the cab and I enjoyed it so much that I wasn't thinking straight. loco

I can't explain Love, but when your wife decides to get you a Neo Geo home system,That's Love..

it's completely different from looking at the spines on your shelf. Completely different.

I mean, you think about her all the time, like it's near obsession, and normal stupid shit doesn't get you down like it used to. You feel lighter - you forget about the bad shit in your life pulling you down.

That's what it feels like.

I wish I knew...... But as far as I know it's an obsession like that with finding a rare neo game. she stay's on your mind for even a weeks after you haven't seen her. and once you have her it's still an obsession. Like when you get a new game and wake up the next day and put it straight on as if you were to lose it, even though you know this to be untrue. Except women keep you on your toes because unlike games the can actually go away as they please. One that stays with you may be the ultimate collectable

I would not associate an obsession with love under normal circumstances... Although it's a rather personal thing... Love can be a lot of things, I suppose, but for me it's having someone who I desire to be with, have fun when I'm with them, can be intimate with, can be emotional with, can share almost anything with, can do almost anything with, I can live happy just knowing that they're always there for me, and the kicker is that they love me back.... At least in some way they have to love you back or at least have loved you back before. Otherwise it's more like infatuation.... Loving someone who you never had great times with or never did anything for you is kind of... Impossible! I mean, you could feel love in some way in that situation, but I think that would be more like being in love with the thought of being with them, which is different.

Phew, this love thing is tough to articulate. make_fac

Hey, he asked what it's like to be in love, not just to love.

There's a difference.

Its awesome. Honestly when you're in love being with her is better than playing your Neo. And I don't just mean the sex.

Hell there are times when I'm at home watchin TV, playing a game, or online, or whatever and I just wish she was here with me right now. There are times when we'll be doing completely different things in the same room, but well its just nicer with her just being thier.

Peace

It's expensive! :D

But it's all worth it when I see her smile. I have been in love for about 4 yrs now, with the same girl I've been going out since highschool for a total of 5 yrs. I'm still young only 22, but it's great. I miss the hell out of her though because she's in Spain right now studying abroad and she won't be back until May crying Honestly, I find her more enjoyable than my videogame collection.
