Here's what I'm looking for. A flat screen HDTV-ready 16:9 TV. Do quality brand TV's exist for $800 or under with these features? Thanks guys!

Happy Meal,
Check out Samsung brand HDTVs. Those are good quality, and in the price range you are looking for. I bought one for 900$ at BestBuy, it had 4 sets of A/V hookups, 2 S-Video hookups, and one set of Component hookups. This thing is perfect for gaming, and watching DVD's. I'm finally getting some use out of my progressive scan DVD player now.

Samsung is producing some good quality HDTV sets that are far less expensive than their Sony/Toshiba counterparts. If you get a flat screen HDTV, beware, those things are heavy, even the smallest of them.

Gunstar is right. The Samsung 32in HDTV is the one to get right now. I would of already bought one if I didn't buy the toshiba 32in last year.
Costco had it for $799 also check ebay as well.

Speaking from personal experience, both Toshiba and Panasonic make excellent Tv sets. They both have 27inch models at around $300 with atleast 1 svideo and multiple composite inputs.
