I've been playing through teh 1 level demo a few times and I played a little more at Gamestop this morning. The game seems fun and the price is right ($14.99 NEW), but I wonder if it gets repetitious?

Do the other levels feature more of the same? THe few levels I've played basically have you clearing out the monsters in each level. I'm wondering whether this game is worth buying.

Discuss. I want to hear some honest opinions. I only want to hear from people who own this game...

Funny you should bring that up i was playing it earlier. Yes it's definetely worth $15 especially new. I hated it at first , but after getting used to the control scheme (which i'd have thought you have ,as you've played the demo beforehand) i began to love it. Some ace level design and bosses, and music. Replay value is decent, go for maximum combos and collect all the halley cores dotetd around on each level. get it!!

Yeah, I don't have a problem with the control system (the boosting activated by the click stick is pretty intuitive) and I'm pretty good at picking off enemies while flying.

I was mainly concerend about repetitive gameplay. Do they introduce new concepts in the game, or is every stage pretty much just clearing out enemies?

Ya the game is mostly clearing out monsters. It does get kinda repetative, but it still has a way of staying fun. I think it is worth the 15 dollar price of admission. (Though is was defintily NOT worth the 50 dollars I spent on it when it came out very_ang )

A lot of ignorant gamers don't know this, but this game is like NiGHTS. Fucking tops once you learn how to REALLY play it. trust me. Worth the 50 bux I spent on it.

I dont really have a problem with the controls at all,(click boosting and what have you)but I DO have a MAJOR PROBLEM with the inverted look that you CANT FUCKING CHANGE! I dont want to "get used to it" either. Playing a game with the look inverted, when your used to playing default, can screw you up for weeks, and I'm just not willing to fuck up my Halo game. wink

$15 for Gunvalkyrie?I'd buy it just for keepsake!Since it's made by Sega,it can't be too bad.The game itself look pretty cool.I like the character designs, too!

Guess Rade hit the nail on the head, if you don't learn how to play it right, you won't have fun with it, let alone beat it. In the first two levels, the enemies are quite calm and the terrain is easy enough to just walk around and jump a bit, but if you haven't learned how to shoot enemies while zooming through the sky you will have a hard time from level 3 upwards.

Just watch the demo mode for a while to see how it should look like! :)
