Ok, I was channel surfing this morning when I passed by a scene from Supermario sunshine. Since I knew that Extended Play comes on TechTV and I wasn't on that channel I wondered what it was.

Apparently it's a station just for games. I just noticed this today, anybody know how long this has been around.
Gotta admit some of the stuff is straight stupid but I do like being able to see some vids of games without having to download thiem... buttrock

its probably been around for nearly a year now and to my understandings its only being broadcasted on Comcast Digital Cable. By the way, from what I've heard it sucks, but a video game channel is a video game channel and no matter what, I'd still be happy to have it...

oh yeah and I WANT FUCKING TECH TV BACK!

G4 tv rocks, i've had it for the good part of the year. THey just doubled their shows so it doesn't repeat everything like they did before.

But the main reason i posted was to bitch about comcast. The tv's ok, but god comcast cable internet is a bitch! Fucking monopolies...

Their prices for normal cable TV and cable internet are are way too fucking high and they're the only providers where I live for both cable and cable internet. And they give you absolutely NO upload bandwidth... you get 10kpbs up speed now if you're lucky.

I guess I can't blame them for Tech TV being gone since they unregistered themselves with every cable provider and are only accessable now via Satelite. But why the hell replace Tech TV with shit like "YES"!? A FUCKING CHANNEL ABOUT THE YANKEES, ONE FUCKING BASEBALL TEAM... I FUCKING HATE SPORTS!!!!!!! FUCK!

G4 isn't too good overall, but there are some good shows. They did a special on gaming and culture in Japan that was pretty good.. and CinemaTech is fucking sweet.. The rest is average and below.

catch their specials and cinematech and it's worth watching.

Honest to god, and I know this sounds dorky, but the women on the show tend to be pretty damn hot. Some shows are good, while others... well, others really are lame. But, any video game channel is better than no video game channel at all.

Yeah, I've been watching it for some time today and most of the shows are pretty bad. Most of the games reviewed are are pretty old but I did kinda like Starcade... funny seeing to guys play Xevious and die at least twice in 40 secs! :rolleyes:
