Zoonami, Perfect dark/golden creators? GCN?

Please avoid the flames... this is actually good information... and it is interesting. This is not a shot at the Xbox.. thank you.

well... this is an interesting read. You know... Rare was always thought to be the ones behind perfect Dark... and Goldeneye.... but the actual project group for those 2 games
declared a "somewhat" partnership for the GCN. How? They have went to a new development team at Zoonami.
well.... as it turns out.. they are developing a secret game called... Game Zero.... hm... sounds like perfect Dark Zero.... annoyed

they are unfounded... but sort-of a cool rumor here They talked about why Rareware's perfect dark zero team has been getting smaller... because they are all moving to the zoonami team!

I cannot wait to see what they come up with.

... maybe this is the real reason Nintendo didn't buy Rareware.... seriously...

That's a really good rumor, and it'd be pretty sneaky of Nintendo to let them go like that.

But just because a majority of the people leave, I don't believe they can take the rights to the name, etc, with them.

At the very most, they could make a game like, "Jerfect Dark"

I would rather have a full new game than a sequal to perfect dark. I love perfect dark, don't get me wrong.... but I don't think that game could be improved much without totally changing it.

I wish they would have retained the rights to the Bondgames.... as opposed to EA... Their bond games just don't live up.....

The RARE GoldenEye dev team fragmented some years back.

Key members formed Free Radical Design and released Timesplitters 1 and 2.


Correct me if wrong but Zoonami is the moniker adopted by one of the RARE graphics staff. Appeared in a EDGE interview some months back.

Perfect Dark is in my Nintendo 64 right now. Its great news for cube owners if this rumour is true.

well there is a lot of truth behind it.

The 2 guys (the head of the goldeneye project/lead level designer of goldeneye... and head of the PD project) left Rare.

They started zoonami. But the real rumor came in when they said that the Xbox PD0 rareware staff has been gettng smaller because they have been filing over to Zoonami. That is the real rumor there
