its just the beginning! the fighters looks very detailed.as much as i hate sony and ps2,i'm psyched about the new tekken and soul calibur 2.soul calibur 2 should make it to dc in my opinion since the first game sold 2.5 million copies.i must admit that tekken 4 is going to be a hit.like i've said the pics are just the beginning.i'm sure it would be improved.you know namco well do you? they are one of the most hardworking companies around.

Not bad at all. I like the idea of the infinite floors being removed. There will probably be some killer Wall Juggle Combos coming up...

MMCafe has what looks like the same images but in addition they have a pic of Yoshimitsu.

I'm sorry, but he looks awesome! They replaced the clown with Skeletor! I'd play him awhile for looks alone. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

tekken hits next generation in style.seems like a bloody roar rip off,errr,maybe not.sure looks like it.

Hey the pic of Kazuya and Paul fighting in the office building kind of makes it look like an enchanced version of Die Hard Arcade!!!

I like the change with the walls. I just hope they don't allow infinite juggles with this new feature.

I love both Virtua Fighter and Tekken but I could never compare the two. They are just both completely two worlds apart. Virtua Fighter is tourtoment fighting and very clean cut. All fighters are very proper and dignified. Tekken has the raw,gritty feel with plenty of fiction to back up its style. The new pics of Tekken 4 kind of remind me of Fight Club for some reason!!!

Tekken rules beleive it or not boys and girls...Although VF4 does look great it will not be better than tekken 4...VF (SEGA DC) Tekken (NAMCO PS) PS will make sure that tekken 4 is better than VF4 <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0"> in any effect both games are gonna be top dog!! <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

To put it plain and simple Tekken would beat the living hell out of Virtua Fighter.
I kinda like the new and improved Yoshimitsu. He finally looks intimidating rather that funny looking. I want to see how Heihaichi will look in the game.

soul calibut 2 is headed to ps2.i think that if people really like the first game,they should buy ps2.VF4 and tekken 4 are also ps2 bound. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Even though there are alot of playstation bashers on this forum it seems PS2 is the place to be!!! VF4, Tekken 4, SC2, Cvs.S 2, Guilty Gear X how could you not resist!!!

ps2 is awesome but sony is not! the revolutionary emotion engine is really cutting edge and most probably better than the latest pc right now.i can't wait to see tekken 4 in action.

no not
particularly
i supposed i am burned out
on tekken...
once you realize that
the entire game is based on
10 hit combos ...
perhaps you run into
someone with parrying skills
but really
the entire game is memorization...
block high, high,low, high to their
10 string
then do your 10 string
tekken is not realistic.
i dont expect others to start "not" liking
tekken because its not realistic
but i fell hard for VF when
my friend showed me it
.. it has real fighting styles
and is closer to real fighting
..
i think the VF series is a more
attractive fighting game..
not because of how it looks but
really how it plays...
...
but for the record..
VF4 does look hella better than tekken4

Well thats ur opinion...me on the other hand being a tekken lover find tekken 4 looks better than VF4...but as i said both games are gonna rule! <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

i know what u mean though with the 10 hit combo..but...the 10 hit combo's are not all the same...Kings 10 hit combo throw is a monster to pull off <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">
