Code Red Mountain Dew

Another gimmick for Pepsi to sell more mt. dew.

I will admit, I like it a little bit.
A tick on the sweet side, but I like the cherry taste.

Has anybody tried this yet? What do u think?

never heard of it.
but I'm sure Pepsi isn't having any problems selling mountain dew. I used to work in a grocery store, and believe me, It sells just about as much as Pepsi

I gotta admit...... I like the taste of Mountain Dew...... but I steer clear of it because I'm a sucker in the old myth behind it..... [you know the one, if you don't, what cave have you been living in???]

Anyone tasted "Sobe" or "Sierra Mist" yet? How are those?

Luckily for me, since I play a lot of basketball, near my house is a shopping place and they have a soda machine where the soda cans go for only .25 cents! Plus, it's cold too. Sweeeeeeeeeeeeeeet. <IMG SRC="smilies/glee.gif" border="0">

Steve: Sierra Mist is AWESOME. Very different from any other drink IMO. It's kind of got that lemon-lime taste, but it goes down smooth and is extremely refreshing. Probably my favorite soft drink. Haven't tried Sobe yet, though.

That Code Red MD is OK. Doesn't really taste that much like cherries, and it has that same nasty aftertaste as the original MD to me.

Bah, I don't get any new soft drinks in my back assed water town, no Coke2, no Pepsi One, now no Red Mt. Dew?

You figured that out too? I tried it when the school put it in our machine a year or so ago, and I'm like, "whoa, this is slice".
My friends said it was good, but they liked slice better. Then I pointed out that it was the same flavor of soda and that slice was gone. Nobody even noticed! What's up with this:

Nah, I don't think it tastes anything like Slice. Slice was...how can I put this...a hard drink to swallow. It went down VERY rough, although that's one of the reasons I liked it <IMG SRC="smilies/wink.gif" border="0">. Basically, it was the opposite of Gatorade...yeah...that's a nice example!

Mist is just the opposite of Slice IMO...it goes down really smooth and has a more "mellow" flavor to it.

Here's one for the obscurity files: Does anyone remember O.K. soda? I remember trying it-I think it was produced for something like five months at the most. Weird stuff. <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0">
