Best you stick to Rounders, sorry "Baseball" 12 year old girls play that in school in England! You can at least win the "world series" of that, remind me again ho many countries are part of that?

Actually, now I think of it, you do seem to take our most sacred "schoolgirl" sports, and make them your own!
Rounders, became Baseball.
Netball, became Basketball.

And it works the other way, you can take a manly sport, and make it suitable for girls!
A'La Rugby, becomes American Football!

Perhaps your Canadian neighbours can show you how to play Ice Hockey properly? That would be a start! (I can ask them to go easy on you!)

okay Slug, now you made me mad.
1.only about 10% of NHL players come from the states, and most of those are from Minnesota or Wisconsin. If you have trouble pronoucing the guy's name, he's either french or eastern european, which is where most of the players come from
2.Basketball IS American. Invented by James Naismith in the early 1890's at a Springfield, Mass. YMCA.
3.The only reason Football players wear the helmets and padding is because the game was about to be banned by President Theodore Roosevelt around 100 years ago after a bunch of players got maimed and killed playing the game.
4.Those soccer players kiss each other, tell me that's not fucked up.
5.Baseball is THE sport in Latin America
6.Soccer is pretty damn Girly, man. it don't get any Girlier than that.

Hey now, us americans, can play some ice hockey. Least, I know how to play it properly, and most of the usa players in the nhl like Iori said, come from northern states, or the eastern coast. Mainly from college, junior a, or some from prep schools. Ah well I am rambling being a hockey player and all.

College Football, any system... Starting with the original Genesis "Bill Walsh College Football", which didn't yet have the permission of the NCAA so the teams were named by location.

Notre Dame was South Bend
Penn State was College Station
Washington State was Pullman
USC was the only one that got to keep the nickname "SC"

I loved being able to play in a reasonable facsimile of the Coliseum in Gamebreaker 2001 on PS2.
