Props to Steve for the idea of this post, but here's my list of shooters that I wanted to get some opinions on. What do you folks think?

Out of those I have played:

Lightening Force: I love this game! I have it mint in box and play it at least once a week. It was hard unless you knew the 99 lives code.

Musha was great too.

A must have for Sega CD!!!

SCD version isn't that great. Hucard Air Zonk is good.

-Lightening Force (Genesis)
Japanese named "Thunderforce IV"...so what do you think?

I thought this is Saturn title, not Sega CD....not that great

Good shooter on T-16/PC Engine

-Side Arms (Turbo hu)
Not that great (IMO)

Awesome!! Especially it's only 4meg!!

Never bother with US game....only JPN game for me.

Rocks. Very nice port of the arcade version.

Badass.

-Ordyne (Turbo hu)

I think it's overrated, but still good. I've actually only played the arcade version so I don't know if the Turbo hu is a good port and what have you.

-Galactic Attack (Sega CD)

Never played it.

-Side Arms (Turbo hu)

Again, I loved the arcade game. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0"> Remember how the arcade version was called Side Arms: Operation Hyperdyne or something like that? <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

-M.U.S.H.A. (Genesis)

-Biohazard Battle (Genesis)[/B]

Fun <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">. I liked the pacing of the screen scrolling/enemy formations and what have you.

Lou, have you ever played this old Micropose shooter for the Genesis called The Curse? It's pretty cool, good weapons, cool enemies, great music, all the things that make a shooter fun. <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

I think Sol-Deace is my favorite Genesis shooter of all time. It was one of the first ones I played on the system *_*.

Sol-Dease (Sol-Fease for CD version) is good.
I love every Wolfteam game <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">

If you have chance, pick up MUSHA for Genesis. This is the game you can't miss (actually you've missed this great shooter for 10 years....LOL)
