That's a tough one for me to answer. I love my SNES to death, but I am starting to think that the answer is Dreamcast for me. I didn't think anything would replace my undying love for SNES (well, except Neo Geo), but DC is just too damn sweet.

I don't care what comes out these next so many years, I'll still have my DC hooked up right along side the other systems, baby. What about you?

Definitely Sega Saturn. Awesome 2-D library, full of shooters, fighters and quirky games. Plus the Sega first party titles like Virtual On and Daytona, as well as arcade perfect classics like Space Harrier and Outrun c/o Sega Ages.

Too bad the market prices on the imports keep rising. In a few years it'll be just like the PC-Engine market and approaching the Neo market with some games.

Besides the Neo would come the Turbo Duo and the SNES. Turbo has some of the best shooters ever and they both have a very nice RPG library. DC is next in line though.

On a side thought: All I want is Actraiser on the GBA and I'll be a happy man.

Atari jaguar
only joking that must have been the worst system ever made,i remember paying £400 for that and alien vs preditor it was total shite.
I think dreamcast is the second best to my neo with games like soul caliber and powerstone along with capcom vs snk,it was a truly solid system i thought until sega gave up on it

I pick the Saturn. Its library of shooters is something unequalled by any current systems (although the PSone has some decent shooters as well).

Sega Genesis

Streets of Rage 2
Sonic 3
Gunstar Heroes

It is still my favorite system next to the mighty NEO GEO.

No doubts about, but the Dreamcast and the Super Nintendo Entertainment System are the only ones that can come close to the answer

Genesis, some of my all-time favourites. DreamCast, for surpassing my expectations, even if it did have a short life. Saturn, for all those awesome Japanese games that never made it to our shores. Thanks to Chimpmeister and Ghost-Dog for correcting me when I was misinformed that the Saturn was a POS, nothing could have been further from the truth.

N64 a fighting gamer's machine? What exactly are you smoking, and where can i get some?

KI and MK were/are/and always will be utter crap. The other games you mention were nothing to right home about either.

Hell, the PSuXone had better fighting games than the N64...and the Saturn tops both of them combined.

Sorry Shingo, but I'm going to agree with RevQuixo about this one. N64 has got some very nice games on it, but fighting games is something it sucked at. I like KI a bit, but that's about all they really had that was any kind of good.

But if you like it, that's all that matters! I say DC is the best fighting system you can buy not counting Neo Geo.

What does star trek have to do with this fucking thread, that comment was made in the war room where it should stay.I bet you walk around in your star trek outfit speaking klingon. It is fairly entertaining ill give you that, but so ficticous its laughable, haha
lets go to warp 7 thats like 7 times the speed of light(186,900 miles a second) dont you think the geforce on that craft would flatten everybody to a pancake, not only that
but einstien proved that e=mc2 that means
massxlight=energy ,move an object at the speed of light and it turns to energy.
Star trek is just fiction its neither plausable
nor that entertaining to tell the truth.
