Got one. Works great. Just doesn't work with a game genie for NES games...

I have one, it works fine, but for some reason it would freeze on stage 2 of Battletoads (crater stage) All the other games appear to play without problems, I haven't extensively tested it yet.

Yeah, Battletoads is supposed to have a really wacky rom released by rare, so it doesn't surprise me it won't work properly. It's too bad Battletoads is one of the greatest games ever.

Thanks. I see you have to use the converter as a pass-through to get the signals to the TV. Does this degrade the picture quality to any notable extent? And, is there somewhere where I can find it for less than $80?
