Buy American (with the exception of a Honda). Parts/maintenance are cheaper.

Hehehe, I drive an "official" car. I customized it with "Imperial County" seals, complete with "Official Use Only." The decals are legit, the car isn't. Even put car ID #s on the hatch and interior dash. I get away with murder....muwhahahhaa.

No no no no no no :D

I love the car. It's absolutely awesome.

I'm just worried that it's going to take over all the funds that I spend on gaming/neo.

I've already been spending a bit of time over at the AudiWorld boards too.

I just have to be careful not to sell any neo games to fund car stuff. ;)

Never been too into cars. I just bought a new used one recently, '95 Pathfinder. It looks good, gets me where I'm going and it's a damn work horse. I got a sweet deal on it as well. I'm conservative with my cash with the exception of my spending on my Guitars. To each his own I say! :D

I have an '88 Mustang GT, but I keep the spending reasonable on that. I had it painted recently, but I don't mess with the engine like most people. Those 5.0's will run forever if you dont fuck with em.

I'll never understand why people care so much about cars... even in my school all I ever hear is what car people want to get because it can go yay fast...

They say they're going to drag race on Main Street even when I tell them that people DRIVE on that rode... so they say that there aren't always people on that road... they're all retarded, I swear.

Cars are an boring, expensive and pointless hobby, I'll never understand what people see in them.

When I get a car, I don't care how fast it goes, I simply want one to get from place to place... nothing more.

Drag racing can be dangerous on public roads, I'll give you that. It's alot of fun though if you can manage to do it safely.

But Neo-Geo can't possibly be boring, expensive or pointless right?

Ok, thats your choice. Personally, I'd rather be able to get from place to place fast, and do it in style.

If you don't "get" teh car thing, forget it. You're preaching to teh choir. I've blown much more money on cars than I could ever hope to on video games. I do have a superb 73' Nova right now with 134,000 original miles on it as my daily driver. I've got a 307 build in the future along with the requisite brake and suspension upgrades. Just be warned with cars= you always lose your ass financially on them.

I dumped quite a bit into my 1990 g60 corrado ,
but now it has 284hp at the front wheels.
stuck it on the dyno at new dimensions in san jose.
5.0 mustangs dissapear in the rear view mirror on the freeway.with no problems.
I previously restored a 1971 dodge challenger r/t.
It was an origional #s matching 10:01 340ci / 340hp car.
an absolute blast to drive.
I dropped a few dollars on my 00 gsxr1000 too now it has 152hp at the rear.
It was only stock for about 3 days and I got bored and wanted more h.p.I guess, now its insane!
and I love it.

I'm always stunned when I run into a person that thinks as you do. I always think that car-love is innate in all males.

I'm convinced that it's because you never rode in a fast car as a child. I'll never forget the first time I rode in a Ferarri Testarossa.

It's in your genes and you simply don't have them for some reason. Either that or someone needs to give you a ride!

Cars are just pieces of steel and plastic. You should never become attached to a car.

In answer to your earlier question - NO. But then, you know why ;)

im not into cars. what i want is a 1976 chopper- harley, fatboy with an fx-sts dynaflow engine, chrome pipes, and the classic american flag pattern gastank, a high backseat, and no windsheild. i start to drool just thinkin about that badass, road hoggin, loud as hell bike. i just wish i could was a lucky enough son of a bitch that owns one.

now if there was ever a car i wanted, it would have to be a 1973 dodge charger. with an engine that's sooo suped up, that like goes a foot and a half up out of the hood. all of the works in a bright hemi orange paintjob. with twin black racing stripes down the back. everything chromed out leather interior. 4-ten inch amps in back 1000 watts each. oooh that car is orgasmic.

a 1970 charger but it's still an awesom car

and a 1972 in hemi orange

Don't you mean "street Hemi orange"?

j/k The mopars are spectacular, but unless you have a really fat wallet, forget it. I become really attached to my cars (except for that one toyota I owned). Most cars have distinct personalities (except my toyota) and I come to like them just as a friend. When you get your ass-groove worn just right in the seat, the engine firing effortlessly because you know exactly how all the parts feel as they move together and how you control the vehicle just like an extension of your own body is a unique relationship.
