[back story below]
Has anyone worked/donated to them or known anyone who has? I'm curious about making a donation.
Locks of Love is the non-profit that takes donated hair in order to make wigs for little kids who've gone through chemo or other related hair-loss problem. Since they generally make hair for girls (since bald in actually fashionable for guys), the need hair that's minimum 10 inches.
----
Since those who know me or have seen my picture may want a back story, here we go: I have medium-long hair, I keep it around 8-9 inches for aethetics.
Over the holidays I was told by a summer employer that the hair/goatee/sideburns all have to go (sell out, I know -dear christ- I know). The other day I got usual "Ooo I love your hair" comment from a lady at a coffee shop (what can I say, if you have good long hair, ladies dig it. Unfortunately most guys who grow long have terrible, flat/stringy hair -but I digress). When I told her I was going to have to eventually cut it, she told me about the program and thus I think I'm just going to keep growing it out until around late-April then lop it off and donate it for some girl somewhere in America who I'll never meet.
Unfortunately for me, once it gets longer than my shoulders it starts to curl, making it managable only as a ponytail (I do want to keep a few inches of hair after they cut off the majority)
Here's a picture of what how long it was back in November (I haven't cut it since):

It seems like a nice cause to support,
