Someone is offering me $150.00 for my sealed, gold edition Zelda OOT N64 cartridge. Should I dump the game now for that price or does anyone forsee the value of this game going through the roof when the Gamecube Zelda gets its domestic release?

Sell it. It is such a common cart and shitty game. It's value isn't going to go much higher, if at all.

That game has steadily been going up. I have 2 new ones still and I am sure there are quite a few of them floating around but... Zelda is one of the most popular titles of all time. I don't think the game will be going up too much but it may hit close to $200 with the release of Wind Walker. So, as always, it's a gamble.

don't ever, ever call zelda a shitty game, EVER!

Sell the damn thing though, a complete gold one isn't even worth $40.00 so I doubt that a sealed one would even make more than a $20.00 difference if you're lucky.

You're ripping that guy off x3 at least. Anybody that stupid deserves to be ripped, so I say go for it.

I'd say that if anything, the release of the new Zelda would lower the price of OoT, but who knows, the market is crazy... either way, I doubt it would ever make it to even $100.00 whether the price goes up or not.

Then again, look at what happened to Super Metroid haha.

SamX knows what he's talking about. OOT will indeed go up in value. Even though the game is being released on the Gamecube, the Cartridge based version is still worth a decent amount.

Well, a while ago I saw some sell for over $120 on ebay. But I just checked again and apparently it isn't quite as valuable as it used to be. So, I would say sell it based on the current price. Odd that it would have dropped so drastically. Live and learn I guess.

You want a rare when then get one of the "Not For Resale" Demo copies. Now those I know have gone for a hell of a lot.

Collectors aren't fucking up the market. First of all it's new. Secondly it's a niche market. Any "gamer" that want's the game should be able to find a grey version, cart only, for $20-$25 which is reasonable.

I have a mint copy with box and everything, gold original release (the realese before they took out the "chant" music that pissed off some Muslims or something). My brother has an unopened copy of the same.

I say dump it at $150. That's probably 3 times what you pais for it when you bought it, and 150% profit is fucking excellent for ANYTHING.

Flush that betty. When a new version of anything comes out, the old one usually gets cheaper. Shit, after Chrono Trigger came out as part of FF Chronicles here, that cart went down a lot in price. Sell now while it's hot!

err right, forgot about that crap.

But still, I wouldn't worry about it since the bonus discs are whats going to sky rocket... they're limited and people are stupid, so it all works out.

I'd expect $150.00+ after about a week.

Look at it this way...

6 months before DBZ Budika (I spelled that sooo wrong) for PS2 came out I sold a (and it was labeled this way on ebay) a scratched, but playable disc only version of a US DBGT Final Bout for PSX. Guess how much? $212! I felt like I was ripping some kid off, but I posted pic's of it working, and of it out of the cart. I said that if bidding hit over $60 (you can tell I wasent expecting much) I would thow in a free memory card with all the bonus characters playable in (some mode I cant remember). $212!!!! The guy even left great feedback! Now that boudika (I probably spelled it wrong and differently here) is released Your luck to get anywhere near that much for a new sealed copy, much less in that condition. I sold when the selling was good.

My advice DuMP THE BITCH LIKE A PROM DATE! The bonus disc for Z:WW will be worth more than Z:WW upon release. Amazon already is selling it for $69.99 (the bonus disc).

P.S. This is the last time I post after drinking.

Worthless. If you can get that much for it, dump it.

They made 300, 000 ++ of these things. You know that a bunch of collectors have these things stockpiled, new, used, mint, wrapped. You name it.

It's not rare.
