How do i clean an my laptop's screen?

They make this shit you can spray on a monitor and whipe it off, you can use that... when I use it at work is smells like 90% alcohol, so you should be able to get away with using 90% Isopropoyl (or however the hell you fucking spell it) Alcohol.

Water also works, if you put it on the towel only (ie. don't spary the water on the screen). May not work as well as IPA (the alcohol mentioned above) though. If you do get water on your system, just don't turn it on for a day or 2 to make sure it doesn't die. Just getting components wet does nothing, getting components wet then running current through them while wet, DOES.

To clean smudges like fingerprints, you can use a mild mixture of water and alcohol. That's what IBM Support recommends for my new IBM Thinkpad and it seems to work extraordinarily well. Spend the money and get one of those ultra soft cloths they sell specifically for cleaning LCD screens at Best Buy or any Comp USA.

yeah... those canned air dusters work GREAT....

but I telly ou, I found water (a little bit) on a soft cloth works the best for aroudn the offices here....

never did try that other soluton Slerch
mentioned.

AM-NeoGeo is right. You need to get the special anti esd cloths for the lap top screens. They are like $5 for a can of those cloths.
