Hey all! I'm wondering, does anyone know what has happened to Mas Systems? I have been trying to go to their web site for several days now to check into something and all it does it time out. Is their site just down or did they go out of business? I haven't heard anything to this effect and I hope that's not the case. Anyone know what's up? Thanks!

I was just on their site today. I linked to it through their eBay SuperNova auction. Maybe you just tried it when they were temporarily down...

I saw an eBay auction of theirs the other day, might want to try contacting them through there?

Hmm...perhaps I'll do that. I've been trying their web site randomly over the last few days and I've never been able to get through. That's why I was wondering if something happened to them. If they're still kicking, I'm glad to hear it. Well, I'll check and see what auctions they've got running and see if I can reach them that way. Thanks all!

Dude, it's a nightmare trying to contact them.
You have to realize that MAS Systems is nothing more than a small Asian family in a trailer burning the midnight oil with a gaggle of soldering irons and arcade parts.

Laugh all you want...the truth isn't far off.

Their workmanship also leaves a lot to be desired. In the mid'90's when they first started putting out sticks and SuperGuns their construction was first class, well built shit.
Years later, I can't say the same thing. Shoddy custom board for sticks that die out, RGB/NTSC decoders that are cheap and bug out after a lot of play....I'd either homebrew my own or go for a Sigma.

Thanks for that post Loopz...I was thinking of trying to get another MAS stick from them, but seeing that their build quality doesn't seem to be great anymore, I think I will pass on that.

AMEN.
I remember when they did custom designed cabs and guns with the hand painted artwork!! The quality dropped waaaaaaaaaaay off since 92' when they used to take pride in what they did.

Crap...and I needed a arcade stick for that "other fighting game"

So to buy arcade sticks from them is not worth it anymore spock for the price that they are selling it at...

They are BASTARDS!!

I was the high bidder on a SuperNova system on eBay which ended at $210. Their reserve was around $250 or so. I offered to pay them $240 plus shipping. They emailed me back saying that any items that didn't hit reserve will be relisted!

Well I have ordered twice from them, including
a Pro Joystick last month. They were fast,
and helpful. I have to admit that the joysticks
are not as good as they used to be, but they
are still awesome. glee

Good to know, I have been eyeing their sticks for a while, now I know to pass.
